Wich type of cylinder head makes the most power?

Wich type of cylinder head makes the most power?
Pentroof, 5 valve or Apfelbeck?

Yes

Bridgeport

Did a Bridgeport rotary ever exceed 930 hp/L (turbocharged) for a real race?

them 'ricans push some crazy numbers out of the little 1.3 liter, so probably

BMW pushed 1400 hp out of a 1,5L inline 4 engine based on a production block...

ok

Didn't they have to piss on the block for a while to get that?

>piss on the block
Wat the fuck are you talking about?
It only ate pistons like it drank fuel...

not him, but I remember reading that they used high-mileage production blocks, which the engineers put out in the freezing cold and urinated on them

They didn't have to, but they did anyway.

>which the engineers put out in the freezing cold and urinated on them
Why?
Is that some weird tradition like glider pilots spanking you when you touch the 14th rib of a wing or do your first solo?

That's what the myth is. They'd take high mileage blocks and use them, then they'd leave them outside and piss on them. I guess it was all to make sure the block didn't have imperfections

I read it had something to do with a hardening process the steel underwent.

Pentroof right? Topfuels are usually hemis which is my guess. It could just be beacuse hemis are also cheaper to make.

I dont have a fucking clue though

>Pentroof
They have the issue that you canĀ“t use significantly larger intake than exaust valves.
>Hemi because topfuel
2 valve hemispherical have a lot less valve area and compromise compression ratio

Also Topfuel banned DOHC as far as I know...

Flathead

kek

>Wich type of cylinder head makes the most power?
2 stroke

>Wich type of cylinder head makes the most power?
There isn't one, else everyone would use just one cylinder head design. But everyone uses something a little different so there is no optimal head design.

Quenched hemispherical DOHC. The combustion chamber shape isn't nearly as important as how the air gets in an out of the cylinder. Having canted valve angles allows the valve to open away from the cylinder wall, unshrouding it.

for what fucking car????
op... are you
>r e t a r d e d

>no imperfections
>covered with piss

sounds like Germany
