Pretty sure Unique Empire State troops only changes the looks of the units depending on faction, meaning once the Empire takes Middenheim, you will no longer be able to recuit Middenheim units from there.

I actually destroyed an entire faction with 7 provinces with a single monk.

Playing FotS for the first time now and its even more OP because the skill trees way stronger and for some reason inciting revolts barely gives you any diplomacy penalty.

Is there something that makes FotS suddenly turn difficult, like RD?

I'm playing as Aizu and it seems really easy because 2/3rds of the map is pro shogunate.

So what's the best artillery piece in TWW not counting the steam tank? The hellcannon? The doom diver? The luminark?

Realm divide is different in FotS, it basically becomes all of the shogunate forces vs all of the imperial forces unless you become a republic, in which case the realm divide is similar to vanilla

Haven't played either Rome 2 or Attila but have both with most DLC because my brother owns them on steam.

The market strategy of this type of top hat-wearers is unique even in the specialized field of video game development: they will occupy a niche within the already small market of strategy games, and once the painstakingly produced first game or two has established the model for their new pioneering subgenre, they will continue on the course set by the game with only graphical improvements for entire decades, hiring charlatan junior designer to cater to their fanbase's petty vanities with cosmetic changes while endeavouring to include less and more homogenous content with each new game and expansion. In other words, CA and Paradox are always testing their loyal and niche fanbase, seeking to crush their spirit, probing how low they can go on the content while still reaping their predictable rewards. Nothing good or unique must pass the decisionmaking process, or the demand for the game grow, overwhelming the tired, jaded CEO who came up with that groundbreaking concept decades ago and his simpering underlings who are there in the role of gremlins trying to discretely cripple the game instead of engineers trying to improve it. They will work towards inter-game compatibility and homogeneity across the rulesets, yes, but they will quickly strangle every spark of flavour, creativity, unpredictability, sometimes helped along by the "suggestions" of their playerbase which is made up of RL motorically impaired losers who want predictable victories over exciting mechanics. I need to taste it first; see how it looks and plays. If I don't get excited during the gameplay, I uninstall it. If there is well-thought gameplay or rich story, then I give it a chance.

I wish I could change arrow types. Even if not at battle level, just like an option on unit card in campaign level, sort of like how in Attila you can upgrad your units, but just a switch.

They emerge from bathing pools so should lack any gentians but do have spiked tails which can be inserted into the anus for armour piercing damage
