I ping the shit out of a Medivh and suicide charge him when he hits 15+ stacks on his quest.

It is great because he gets past 20 stacks during the fight and then loses it all.

Yeah, if you die once in the early game it's never going to get finished. It's a pretty shit talent imo.

It's pretty good but super risky and thus not suited for a beginner. I never take it myself, unless I'm against SamFam/Rexxar.

Why more people don't take arcane barrier is beyond me, having 1000 mana as KT is a fucking blast. The shield is very nice too, coupled with Energy Roil at 4 it makes KT very hard for a solo assassin to kill

No, the crytals and the site of the last two missions were just so you could summon the Overmind to Aiur.

It really is never explained explicitly but I always understood it was so the Overmind could personally oversee the assimilation process, maybe a great psychic power was needed to achieve perfection.
