I like the 'don't die' part, as well as the fact that it's basically a car from the 60's (the volvo 144/145) that I could buy in 1993.
I also like that it stands out on the road and is easy to find in nearly any parking lot, except in Seattle and San Francisco.

Even though the engine isn't that great (joint design by Peugeot, Renault, Volvo) absolutely no one hates this car (with possibly the exception of mechanics who regularly worked on PRV V6 engines).

I legitimately hate most things about this car; the engine is garbage, the frames are prone to rusting, parts are expensive, handing is on par with a C4 Corvette. You're literally paying tens of thousands of dollars because of their rarity and meme car status. If I didn't have so much fun turning mine into a rolling troll-mobile and have around $5k invested in it, total, I wouldn't own one. Buy a Fiero or C4 Corvette instead and have a better car.
