its the little version of the n3ds. sometimes I unscrew the plate and push the battery in a bit more but it seems to happen a little bit afterwards anyway. I didn't seem to have this problem with its original plates.

Of the battery is nor perfectly flat and leveled and is "swollen" or "bumpy" then it's only a matter of time when it might explode. Extreme heat or charging whole playing in hot heat could set the battery to swell.

I just my battery, I didn't see any noticeable bumps or anything. my 3ds exploding is kind of scary thought though.

My plate is slightly warped though, it curves outward when its not on the 3ds. I did have to import it so maybe it happened while it was in transit. my original plates don't do the same creaky noise. RIP Kut Ku plates.

No. They actually tried with wiiu, but nobody bought it. We got actual games - new IP & 3rd party stuff like bayonetta. When it wasn't new (dk, pikimin) they were actual sequels.

Switch has ports. Thats it. GTA Mario will be the only exception for a long time. And dont even say arms.

I don't even really care. Didn't buy the Wii U because it was a piece of shit and had a tiny library. The Switch is actually a decent piece of hardware for once (the first time Nintendo has managed that since the GameCube), so if they port the few decent Wii U games over to that and throw in SMO and MP4 for good measure, I'll be satisfied. Plus, with the Vita dead, there's a high probability that niche Japanese devs will move over to the Switch. Since a Vita + TV-out + Nintendo first-party titles is essentially my dream system, that suits me just fine.

I'm talking about it being a good piece of hardware; the feel, the display, the actual features and usability. The Vita is excellent in that regard. The 3DS feels cheap and unpleasant to use, as does the Wii U's gamepad. Playing on the Switch feels a bit like playing on an upsized Vita, which is a good thing.

I'm sorry but you are the one confused if you think the switch using an arm processor is even close to the cell processor the ps3 uses.

You're the only one talking about the PS4 here, but since you brought it up I'll mention that I'm also quite fond of my PS4 (playing through Persona 5 right now and loving it). I don't need a second one, however, and the Switch is doing a great job of differentiating itself and carving out its own niche in my opinion. Yes, it seems to have some reliability problems right now (I've yet to have a problem with mine, but YMMV), but I'm sure those will get ironed out with time, and aside from that Nintendo seems to have gotten everything pretty much right this time.

I do still want a left Joy Con with a real d-pad, though.

Switch doesn't have all the library that Vita has though (yet). The only thing we're getting is Nights of Azure 2. I'd love to see devs bring more of their titles to Switch.

Not yet, I'm just speculating. It's still a brand new system, after all. But we also got Disgaea 5 on Switch, so that combined with several smaller Japanese companies voicing their support for the Switch gives me hope. It's still true that Japan loves their portables.
