My old 1.2 Fiesta did that, which was worrying when it only had max 75bhp to begin with.
If the air con switches were left on it would really struggle to start as well, you had to make sure everything was in the off position before you turned the key

Had the same shit happen to me driving a rental truck, the brake pedal was loose and it would engage the light switch unless I pulled up on it. Found that out after it left me stranded 600 miles from home.

Test the brake light switch on the peal, and if it's good then bend the mounting bracket the switch is mounted to.

Donno, that shit runs on electricity and air.

The AC works off the crank, as does the alternator. Putting load on either affects the performance.

Check your alternator output. A weak alternator will supply power to the motor first and accessories last. So your car will rev up, but things like the lights and radio will dim.

Your brake light switch and or the grommet attached to it is having an issue. Like someone said the bracket it mounts on might be bent, or the rubber bushing might be wearing out.
