0-45 is pretty decent if you go flat out, beat a couple riced civics surprisingly, modded vw's too.

45-60 takes just as long if not longer though.

I'll be honest, I don't really trust the 1l 3cyl Ecoboost engines. Specifically told a mate of mine to go for the 1.6 over the 1.0, although he got a pre-facelift car and yours looks like a post-facelift, so maybe they fixed the issues the early engines were having.
Pretty nice car overall though.

to clarify this car is a DX auto hatch that had the D15b2 (100hp) swapped for a d15b6 (72hp)

I am using the stock ECU/fuel injection (dual-point tb injected)

Basically it is around 30 hp slower than stock. instead of a 6800 rpm redline it has a 5200 redline

normies don't realize I gained around 20 MPG over stock. (30 vs 50)

Might be a smoother ride but I don't see how it would be much different, the number of gears doesn't mean much.

Someone picked one of these up for me and I am coming to pick it up next weekend. It's gonna be my first car and according to Google it makes 95 hp. So I am guessing now it makes 90. But it's manual and I am happy to try my first car

They're slow but they have excellent handling and the 5-speed version really helps in making the car feel more alive.

Aftermarket for non-ST fiesta's is pretty limited but CAI, exhaust systems, and chassis/suspension parts are available.

Trucks are geared for low end torque so you shouldn't be all that surprised.

Yup, mine is auto. Only when I turn off OD that it will rev high while driving on highway. They said the timing cover is sipping a bit of oil. I wonder does that impact there cars performance a lot

I couldn't tell you, but the 1zzfe seems to be a solid engine.

i test drove an mr2 spyder with the 1zz. My word for it was 'adequate'. That little engine provides plenty of pep in such a small car, but its still slow

It revs slowly, and I wish the VVT engaged sooner. I like having some low end torque, though.
