Well I mean, with all the new content being added for primal grids, of course players would have blue balls. You can't even reliably get a primal if you're not a whale, and then have to miss out on a good chunk of content as you get nothing from it.

Magnas should have existed as placeholders for people that just started and don't have the sunstones to uncap a primal.
I strongly believe that a natural power progression of magna to primal, accessible to all, wouldn't hurt the game, as whales would still be the ones with the much stronger primal grids, and could even encourage dolphins to drop some dosh on weapons. Not to mention it would cash in on even the low spenders as they'd get tickets to obtain a primal.
Then again, the economics we're taught in the part of the world with successful businesses clearly aren't the same as the outdated ones the nips believe in.
