Ugly car looks beautiful as a rally coupe

>tfw don't have a backwoods track to trash shitboxes on like mastermilo
Fukken sucks

Good thread idea
Ford Ka

>Toyota Corolla ae86

Pretty sure it'd be harder to find a car that hasn't been rallied

Almost every car has a rally version unless its extremely rare

EM2 Civic coupé.
I fucking dare you both.

posted this once before, but i've never seen another one like this.

Most luxury cars

these were built for rally, off of the r107

...

Close enough.

That's an 8th gen, the user asked for a 7th

what did he mean by this?

I love rally so fucking much, rally can turn any car into pure sex with just a few sponsor stickers and flood lights

That's why the "close enough".

What I mean is why in the ever loving fuck think an ae86 ( one of the most successful rally cars ) didn't have a rally version

Why wouldn't you expect this to have a rally version? Especially the SX4. The drive train is a great start for the 4wd class.

You're a retard, they even bring up how the 86's transmission was short-range and designed for rally in the very first battle of Initial D.

Step aside.

Holy shit

>based Camry has been rallied

who /godmachine/ here?

never would have guessed that. those cars are the biggest pieces of shit i have EVER sat in, never ever been in a car that felt like such a pos. shit everything, shit quality, everything rattled, felt like a proper death trap.

Haven't got a picture of it, but the Ferrari 308 gto as a rally car.

Could also go with the Lancia Stratos.

I haven't watched inicial d yet, i wanted to get into it but i was finishing other series

i dunno, burger cars dont always into rally i guess, not that it can't, that it could do well, that and i always think of the wagon and kinda HEH at the thought

Is that a Saturn?

I have a few 308 Rally car pictures.

When you think of it the 308 isn't a bad candidate it has allot of the qualities that made the Statos before it so good. Just it came in at a time where Group B and AWD were taking off so it really didn't shine outside of Tarmac events and even then the 037 was a stronger RWD car for it.

Was gonna post this

>Ferrari 308
Few people expect a Ferrari outside F1 and a select few other categories

Go my son, our people need you.

...

...

The 308 just looks so right as a Rally car.

>Another car unlikely to receive any authorised factory support was this Rolls-Royce Corniche, though that’s probably more to do with the fact it wasn’t strictly a Rolls. Entered into the 1981 Paris Dakar rally as the result of a drunken dinner bet, this Corniche was Chevy V8-powered, sat on Toyota Land Cruiser axles and weighed 1400kg, considerably lighter than the road car thanks in part to its polyester body and tubular chassis.

The best rally cars are always made after a drunken dinner bet.

God DAMN I love that Bambi Basher

One day, I'll make one for my shitbox, complete with strobing LED arrays for the oblivious cunts out there

that is a road race car!

>not rallying a 50's landbarge
now this guy is just nuts

youtube.com/watch?v=8yRROnG0-lA

AE86s in rally are super popular here.

Porsche 959

>The drive train is a great start for the 4wd class.
What 4wd class?

>inb4 implies there's no 4wd rally cars

Damn, you beat me to it. Well played, user.

didn't colin mcrae design a rally car based off this

But it was a purpose built rally car tho

HON HON

Wasn't the 308 precisely what Ferrari developed to enter Group B?

Well that was the 288 GTO which was based on the 308

Eh close enough I guess

...

...

>(most successful rally car)
Yeah no, how many campionships has that car won? It won around 2ish, it always fascinates me how initiald'fags circle jerk that single car.
Still got smoked by the sierra cosworth and E30 M3 in rwd stages

built for dirt

...

...

Volvo PV544, but then again that engine was made to rally

The production car had an advanced(at it's time) all wheel drive system, course they rallied the shit out of it. It wanted it...

>Trabant
They increased the displacement to 800 ccm and where decent at the time...

>newfags won't be able to name that car

I wouldn't call it a car tho. More like an AWD death cart with b00st

So sad I can't get my grubby hands on one

Searching a bit, haven't found an LS400 rally car. Wonder why? I mean, Rolls have been rallied already (for the lulz of course, but still), and the LS would be far more reliable

That is fucking sick actually lol

Now I want to see a rally MR2 snap overstee into a tree line

...

No, it's a Pluto... Of course it's a fucking Saturn you brainlet.

...

youtube.com/watch?v=1kcMJTYh5xs

This and 80% of the GT Sport Group B class

looks like a modded mr2 aw11 desu

Eh. Won 2. Used extensively to this day. How ye fuck can anyone be surprised?

...

Toronado

Nice

offroad koeniggsegg when?

Like said that was the GTO. The GTO was mostly made with Road racing in mind but Group B focus shifted mostly to rally applications. 308's were fielded in both B and group 4 from what I've read though.

Ferrari was working on pic related to field themselves in group b but didn't. They decided to not go though with it since by the time it was done 4WD was dominating most of the big events.

Didn't this thing win pikes peak?

Yeah the R4

This is what I hate Arab oil princes for. If I was a billionaire and money was literally no object, I would be doing stupid shit like entering lifted Koeniggseggs into the Dakar rally. But no, posing around your chrome wrapped vanity-plate holder is more important.

imagine the scratches

Probably never since the suspension of Koenigsegg cars is usually a pullrod/pushrod one, wich limits travel, and the drivetrain RWD, wich limits traction.
A Lambo has doubble whishbone and AWD...

I´d 20b swap a AW11, put 2 electric motors in the front paired with a little LiGraph battery and raise it to compete in some ralley...

that car won Pikes Peak tho

No no, user. that's just a regular Enzo.
An S Chassis owner just got their hands on it

...

Idk why you're buttflustered.
It's supposed to be a car you DON'T expect to have a rally version.

It's a fucking Corolla marketed at a slightly attractive economy car that drives well.

There, take away the meme. A Corolla as a rally car, surprising.

i've always liked big ole' american barges being rallied

i'm disregarding the theme of this thread just because I love pikes peak everything and want to share this sweet wallpaper

it's like an rs200 had a babby with an mr2

me likey

seen a piece of shit all white KA for £3000. Nearly $4000. What a fucking joke.

WEW

i can't find a picture of an Rx-7 FD as a rally car

Holy shit an edsil...people pay serious money for those even in bad condition.

it's a 222D originally planned for Group S rallying and possibility of Group B

Very nice

And its FF

Chrysler Sebring
It wouldn't even be able to make it to the starting line.

and has a V8, truly the way God intended

holy shit give that man a fucking tracksuit and makarov

>Veeky Forums's favorite version of a classic memecar
if you mean newfag as in started posting last week, I might believe you but this car gets posted all the time

Not that it's undeserving

She's too pure and beautiful for that

youtu.be/2jSHdvOtclE

>Can't have my braptastic godmachine
>Others can rally in it

This gravely hurts the kokoro

...

damn man my friend in high school had a purple neon. we were (are) shitheads and would get high and drive down ATV trails with it. wasn't great. we did it until we high centered it on a big rock then locked it up and left it in the woods until we were less high and could deal with authorities/parents

of all 4 cylinder sedans i would rate the neon 0/10 for rallying.
