Squid Sister stories indicated that Callie and Marie have hit the big-time after the final splatfest and moved on to other things like talk shows and movies, so I think a new, lesser-known idol duo will take over Inkopolis News. I get the impression we'll find out who's running the news in this weeks direct.

Oh, it's coming back. Screenshots of Inkopolis Square have shown the TV studio and big-screen TV. It would be nice if they allowed users to disable news though.

Normally I'd be all oy vey and jump on any discount, but lately Amazon hasn't been getting me new releases on day one, even with Prime. So I'll just pick it up at a local store on launch day, since I don't want to have to wait.

Physical is always cheaper for Nintendo games, so normally I’d just do that. I’ll be going digital this time though because I think it’s worth it to be able to play Splatoon as early as possible.
