Ever noticed the succession of bikes that people own? Like take someone with a 10-20 year riding career. For most people it looks something like: >ninja 300 to learn on >My First Big Bike, a 650 twin or maybe a 600 depending on personality type >some sort of meth rush 1000cc >a brand new meth rush 1000cc Once you have that out of your system, what bike do you actually revert to riding? Like we all want to test the waters, feel what top-of-the-line acceleration and suspension tech feels like. But once you have gone as fast as you want to go, maybe??? scared yourself, once you tire of the brief novelty of "wow these brakes are 5% better" that comes with riding new model bikes... what do you revert to? What would be your natural form?
I think for me it will be something like an sv650. I've ridden loads of bikes and they all have their perks but if I had to have One Motorbike that would be it.
