user that posted the webms in last thread, could you repost? I'd do it but I don't want to take credit for your hard work.
they haven't posted the Twitch archive on to YT yet, but the OP has a video with some of the gameplay from the panel.
if you do go to watch the Twitch Archive, someone on Reddit was nice enough to post timestamps for it

So what's that bonus for all of those delays for the Skullgirls physical release? They mentioned that it's on their Twitter but I can't see it on any of them.
Jordan Kelly
They didn't specifiy, but apparently it involves artwork. Alex said they'd post more about it soon.
Kinda sad though, that they feel they have to go the extra mile in order to apologize for delays that aren't even their fault.
Joseph Powell
I get that but I'm not gonna complain about getting extra stuff for free.
Counting the monster concepts we know about that aren't there, that puts the total number to about 35. A little more if you count the monsters from the early trailers like Kala and her flying demons.
That's a healthy number for a game where scaleswaps affect gameplay as much as paletteswaps..

Sage played with the furry couple days ago btw

Is this just schoolgirl Ajna or KLK Ajna
Wyatt Anderson
How did those matches go? I didn't get to watch much of the stream.
Sage tends to do really well against him in casuals.
Benjamin Collins
Looks like it's just an old fashioned schoolgirl Ajna.
how do i git gud at Skullgirls? I keep getting rocked no matter the character.
Benjamin Wilson
Same. Fighting games are hard.
Zachary Barnes
HOW DO I PAINWHEEL?
Henry Thomas
There are a few things.
First off, neutral. Skullgirls is a very momentum based game, so try to have a good neutral game. Know the ranges of your shit and the enemies shit, know what you can punish, don't go unga blindly.
Bottom line, don't get hit, and learn when to go in.
Jayden Miller
Practice. Think of it like you're trying to learn an instrument. Really try to learn everything you can about your character and how to master the controls.
Then you can start to focus on what your opponent is doing. Every time you get hit, understand what you got hit by and why, and figure out how to avoid that situation next time. And every time you hit the opponent, learn to make it count. Do the most consistent combo you can land.

look up elda teluda matches
Nolan Long
It's too bad Taluda wasn't able to play at CB. I was expecting him to finally unleash the full power of Painwheel.

if everyone had their own pet nuna the world would be a safer happy place and we wouldn't need to worry about stuff like intercontinental ballistic nuclear missiles

funny you'd say that. her old design made me think she was from one of the other NA tribes like iroquois but I was also feeling that her new design looks very mayan, incan, aztec-ish now
and that's probably on purpose. I bet they rewrote the story so she's coming from the same city as tenoch now.
Dominic Jones
My god, I would fucking die.
Jackson Rivera
Really impressed at your helpfulness, good on you guys.
As someone who mostly follows /lzg/ for art than competition, I'd kind of like to know, how do you start getting better at fighting games in general? How do you go from glorified button mashing to actually making split second informed decisions? Memorizing combos? The reaction time alone looks alien; there's nothing more foreign to me than watching actual skilled fighting game combatants.
Dark Souls 1 is the closest I've ever come to competitive PvP, and that's because it's so slow and strategic, relatively.
well I know personally I don't aspire to be a highly competitive pro-player, but I love the hobby aspect of fighting games where the more work you put in, the more reward you get out.
when you know you just read a guy's throw attempt or you reversal super'd to turn the match around, it feels great y'know.
and then when someone does the same to you you're like, thinking how to outsmart that guy. it makes you want to improve yourself and find your flaws and knead them out
that's what draws me to fighting games in general. but specifically I like that skullgirls is a game where I don't feel limited in that. the way the controls feel, and the way I customize my team, and all the skills the characters have, it feels like a big toolbox I've tailored to myself.
and the game is balanced to the point that I can see how these tools are working better for me the more I've practiced it's crazy how much differently I play my team now, compared to when I started, despite them having mostly the same moves.
so I guess that constant interest is what drew me to slowly getting better at this stuff.
>Game's called Indivisible >Protagonist is divided into multiple people
Ethan Taylor
You mean the burn on Tara Strong? That was Qadira's VA.
Bentley Green
it's too bad the characters have to move so quickly. her run animation looks really cute.
Asher Williams
big mama
Aiden Ross
Neat. This kinda looks like Soul Nomad.
Easton Jenkins
Really, it's my neutral advice over again. Learn what options your characters and the rest have, learn what can get you/them in trouble if they hit/whiff, etc.
Learning what hit leads into what combo is helpful too, in Skullgirls is real easy and in other games it's not as important when you first start out.
>The reaction time alone looks alien While there are some crazy reactions, a lot of it is actually predictions.
Colton Martinez
Hey neat. He was streaming too a while ago. It really does
Nathan Young
I almost want Nuna to have her own game now. Mariel said she wanted more Harvest Moon type stuff right?
Stream.me is kinda godlike to be honest. they've already spent close to $8k on supporting the SG scene. I dunno how Sharpie pulled that off, but it's cool.
Jace Ramirez
Man, I really loved seeing Phoebe in action. Something about her is just satisfying.
Oliver Moore
Me too. I wish Mike had finished programming her throws to work, because that would have looked awesome on stream. All in due time though.
Jayden Carter
that's right, they did their kickoff meeting for the opening animation this week
