Retaliation itself makes Zhin too fun, I don't think I could ever play him with any other legendary now. Smolder is probably technically his best but I think Retaliation is really underrated, even against "smart" people it's still plenty useful for cancelling ults, buying time and covering teammates. I run a double meme build so I can spin to win and counter.

Ash is not useless now dude, give her another try. She has more reach to bully and poke enemies but you have to aim now. Aim to the ground if you are too close like with any other aoe champion and get used to the new projectile trajectory.
The only con is that you can't damage Fernando and Barik above their shields but it's not a bad trade off with the new range.

How do I fight against Evie as Kinessa? If I land one shot on her, she can heal it up in ice block or go into ice block and immediately teleport. If you try to camp out the ice block before she teleports, she can cancel it at any time to be unpredictable with it, teleport right to you, and then 2 shot you. Her new faster projectile lets her get away with being able to go farther away and pick you off too. And I don't even need to mention the absurdly tiny hitbox and her two mobility skills.
