Should I get the 6 speed manual or 10 speed auto?

Should I get the 6 speed manual or 10 speed auto?

>fun
or
>0.2 seconds faster to 60

You choose.

Neither. Get a 15-17 gt with a manual

>buying an auto mustang
Lmao so hard

combine the two and get the 16 speed auto-manual

Manual.
And it better be a 5.0.
Don't make the V6 mistake

I have no respect for people that buy automatic mustang gt's.

Just as bad as buying a V6 manual imo

That's not fair :s

why not just buy a honda civic, if AUTO.

Modern autos are objectively superior to manuals in every way, and that 10-speed is a work of art.

Rousing axle back exhaust - worth $500?

GT six speed is the only option

Yep and you can have both hands free to gesticulate wildly to convey that message while you explain how it works to your wife's children while you drive them to school

Take the 256 speed autotragic

if you have to ask you'd be better off with a hyundai

10 speed semi-auto Ford Select Shift*

>tfw you know a girl who insists her mildly modded v6 auto mustang is a viable track car
>tfw she’s also a mildly successful instawhore

>Modern autos are objectively superior to manuals in every way, and that 10-speed is a work of art.

Why rally cars, formula cars, etc etc etc do not use auto at all?

they killed the v6 thank god.

Formula Cars use paddleshifters
the ten speed ford mustang is a dual clutch like most of ford's newer automatics as far as i know, and have paddleshift option

you can drive any car on a track

The 10 speed is a dual clutch? I thought it was just a torque box.

Beautiful.

Is it finally released?
I really want to get one here in yurop. The non cucked US version import. Hopefully the dealers here get early on that boat.
Gonna take a 10 speed.
Are the digital dash and active exhaust standard or optional?

Its a slushbox.. dunno what that user is talking about

No it's not. It's a slushbox, albeit an ok one they say.

Just did some google sleuthing. The 10 speed is in fact a torque converter.

Honestly I don’t mind because torque converters multiply torque and can take lots of HP. I’d be afraid of a dual clutch failing. Even modern 6 speeds don’t feel slushy anymore.

I can’t see Ford offering anything but the digital dash.

What's the difference?

Formula cars are paddle shifter manuals.

Reminder, the mustang is less safe than most cars made in the year 2000.

MANUAL WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU?

On the same level as pic related.

Doors are optional, by the way.

>not wanting to go down with your shitbox

that is actually made by a real company, the real worrying thing is it is on the same level as a tata zest.

The auto
Do you really want a Chinese transmission instead of a GM-Ford joint venture gearbox

>I’d be afraid of a dual clutch failing.

isnt that whats happening with basically all of fords dual clutch auto gearboxes atm?

doesnt look like droopy shit

Happens to all cheap dcts in ecoboxes

>child occupant protection 32%
>safety assist 16%

>>safety assist 16%
Because nowadays cars get scored on whether they have auto-braking or not.
Dead fucking serious.

Get the dual clutch manual

reminder, if you unironically care about safety rating you are pic related

i see the implication here but that baby is too dark to be her kid

its probably adopted

>trusting ancaps for your car safety program

It's still an auto

So it's objectively better than the manual? Got it.

>auto mustangs

lmao, are you a girl?

They use paddle shifters but they aren't semi auto.

my Mustang still has Takata fragmentation grenades for airbags, this is still an improvement for me.

All excuses aside, if you purchase an automatic mustang of ANY variety you are a wimp.

Plain and simple.

>safety rating
>relevant in purchasing a car
>especially a car you buy for the sole purpose of having fun or showing off
Its not a fucking minivan with your chill unsure in it user jesus

>adult protection 72
Good enough
>child protection 32
Buy a minivan
>pedestrians protection 64
Who cares about them
>safety assist
Suck my cock, nobody should need any, at least it has windows unlike it's Camaro/Challenger competition

You mean my 435 horsepower two seater muscle car isn't meant children
Wow what a surprise!

>torque converter
What's the point? The manual 5.0 in first gear can overcome the tire's grip, even slicks. I don't see why you would want more torque in the first 5 mph since it wont be useful

It's not even funny, but I couldn't help but laugh.

seater

Don't say no one cares about the back, because it's still there for when you want to cart around paraplegics.

You guys laugh and call him a cuck but at least he gets to fuck that sweet braaphog every night.

That ten speed is going to be fucking killer in the Ranger Raptor.

In the Mustang get a manual.

Get the manual 5.slow
It’s a piece of shit but at least people will respect the manual aspect

you underestimate the power of getting BLACKED

If by fuck that braaphog you mean sit in the corner while Tyrone and N'Darius destroy her innards with their 12" AIDS-sticks, you are correct.

The 2018 GT will do a sub-4 second run to 60 with launch/drag mode, how is can we still be calling it the 5.Slow

I have a '15 with the 6mt. it is a nice heavy transmission and clutch. Easy to shift, though it is a fairly narrow pattern. It's a little hard to start super smooth though if you're not going 10/10ths. I do not regret the manual but wouldn't mind the auto either.
