I never play fun builds. I always min-max my character as much as possible in every Fallout game and immediately try to get the best equipment and weapons (Navarro Run, Holorifle, Lincoln's Repeater) in the game if they're available

I think I figured out how to make a builder that makes meat into steaks but then I'd still have to select the steak at the terminal every time. What I want to do is edit the autobutcher but I have no idea how to remove the race input and add an object input.

Yea, I looked at it. It uses some weird race checker and then generates items from a defined list. For example RaceBloatfly correlates to ButcheryBloatfly and generates the items defined therein. If I could figure out how to change the race input to an item I could get it to work. It would be super helpful if you could take a look at it if you get a chance.

Not a "pro" min maxer but for New Vegas, I can tell you not to waste points in Charisma and Perception (unless you want Better Criticals for a crit build, in which case get it up to 5 at least), tag whatever weapon skill you'll primarily be using, Repair and Speech, get the Small Frame trait, most energy weapons are useless but a few like the Holorifle and YCS are exceptional. Also I recommend doing Dead Money once you reach Novac or hit level 10, if solely to level up more and avoid the ridiculous scaling on the Ghost People.
I always try to stick to one weapon type for the first part of the game, max the skill, then invest in other weapon types if I plan on branching out.

Actually, there's an auto composter mod, you could look into that. It was an addon for that mod. It auto turns any food items into fertilizer.

In all honesty, all the meat. I usually make a circular converter and just constantly pull things from the connected inventory. then things get sorted and sent to the appropriate builder. But I'll take a look at the auto composter. Didn't even know it existed.
