Ft10 me PS4 NA I need to warm up before I play ranked today :3
John Thomas
I never believed in all this 'unga bunga low iq dishonest' shit in Tekgen, but having just played 5 games against a Katarina, I understand it now.
I mean I still won but low sweep into mashing 4, fucking ungabungabananaboat man.
Logan Murphy
kek
Ryan Gomez
Just sidestep launch in the middle of her 4 strings
Brody Phillips
Fuck
Lucas Parker
Today, I will learn Claudio as my secondary to Eliza.
Aiden Ross
If you are fighting Kats that use 4, 4s to juggle you must be really low ranked.
Jaxon King
Now you've done it.
Thomas Rodriguez
Yea dude just fucking around in blue ranks, I can actually play online since yesterday's patch and don't care enough right now to actually attempt getting greens.
so instead of rounding out my game you recommend I reach yellow ranks playing with a lopsided understanding of the game? thanks man, you must be an expert at tekken
Nathaniel Green
Hey.
Are there any EU PS4 players want to go a few rounds?
John Jackson
Josie, lili and Eliza all tick my autism by having launchers that involve a shinny unmuscular girl lightly tap me with their hand causing me to fly into the air
Zachary Taylor
The rank up-indicator would make it SO much more motivating for me to play, personally. I can't really explain it.
Landon Martin
At least Eliza has the excuse of being an inhuman monster.
Daniel Harris
Implying kazuya can't be played offensively with his God tier 50/50s. Guess there is a reason why u started your post off with "scrub here"
Zachary Reyes
She's just reminiscing her "training" sessions with Kuma
Cameron Walker
MOM
Robert Lopez
What about Lucky Chole and Xiao, my friend?
Ryder Clark
Lucky Chloe is obviously a capo demon, Kazuya made her the face of G-corp for a reason
Hunter James
>implying Chloe doesn't have 80lb weights inside of her cat paw sleeves
Ayden Martinez
Xiaoyu is powerful
Jayden Foster
>get to green ranks just mashing sweep with bryan this game is easy
Thomas Hernandez
My speech device lodged comfortably into her small backdoor
Carson Clark
Rank and country?
Logan Anderson
I got to green mashing 3 and 4 on devil jin
Logan Diaz
Heihachi, please
Jason Adams
I'm new to Tekken. Bought it yesterday before I went to sleep so I could play after waking up.
I love it. This is so much more fun than SFV. Damn.
I'm trying some stuff with Xiaoyu. Why are some moves pushing back opponents? They like slide on the ground, way out of my reach, so there is no way I can combo afterwards.
Rules: FT3 Double elimination bracket with random seeding tourney settings (60 seconds, 3 rounds) There must be a spectator. Spectator must be someone who also enters the tournament First match must be random stage. Loser can pick character and stage. Winner can't switch character. item moves allowed You have 3 days to complete your match. Everyone can play their matches until top 8. Report matches on discord or /tekgen/ thread. Top 8 will be streamed by me. 5 EUR steam card for winners PS4 will be in August.
Reminder that you need to play your matches.
Sebastian Smith
You mean juggle combos? The enemy's gonna be pushed further away after every hit.
Brody Lee
That's called a knockback, good if you want to give yourself some breathing room(say you're against a wall) or usually just used to punish stuff that you cant launch punish
Sebastian Wilson
someone give me tips for fighting against nina
Carter Moore
Is it even worth trying to learn how to play Yoshi when I haven't had much experience in fighting games before? Or will he somehow make me a better player in the long run?
Ethan Morales
That's a crazy vague statement Juggles are toned down, every hit you get midair launchers farther and does less. Screws send them farther based on how many mid-air hits you get off
If you mean in general, Tekken has almost no standing combos, the ones that are real are usually called hit comfirms. Knockdown comes put of faster moves, it's a spacing tool used to get your opponent away from you or close to a wall.
Does that answer your question?
Jason Davis
>This is so much more fun than SFV. Damn.
After getting into Tekken I can't go back to Street Fighter because the characters just feel too limited.
Does anyone else feel the same way?
Lincoln Rogers
Keep her at distance
Oliver Richardson
Duck her jabs.
Jaxson Parker
I just saw the Tekken Bowl trailer and man that takes me back to when I played TTT1 and hardly understood it. My "mains" were P. Jack and Angel because I thought they looked cool
Christopher Watson
work on your sniff punishment
Luke Williams
Will Paul ever stop getting bullied by bears?
Lincoln White
what are some good safe mids to throw out with jin to prevent people from ducking on me all day?
Kevin Rogers
>These characters are easy to play!! >Bryan >Devil Jin >Heihachi >Kazuya >Feng >Alisa
>Yellow >Steve >Leo
Whoever made this list is a fucking retard
Michael Morales
always duck after an initial mid or high left kick, if you think they are stringing the followup is always either high or low
Logan Gray
ever since I discovered Kuma's hunting stance goes under Jin's rage art i've loved facing Jin
Ryan Walker
what's wrong with bryan, kazuya and heihachi? they're great beginner characters that won't teach you bad habits
Adam Mitchell
What's wrong with Alisa? She has a lot of gimmicky shit but if you have the sense to avoid it I think she's a fine beginner character.
Christopher Young
F+4, Learn to cancel too d/f+1
Kevin Campbell
Is it bait?
Austin Jones
jin has tons of good mids
2,1 df1 ff2 b3 f4
Gabriel Perez
>>These characters are easy to play!! That's not what it says
Hunter Jones
Reread it. It's not about easy to play, it's about whether it's good for learning fundamentals
Grayson Rodriguez
>Bryan Teaches you to rely on easy safe strings and snake edge, you won't learn about the game
>Kazuya, Heihachi Teaches you to rely on 50/50 out of cd, doesn't teach you fundamentals
Shouldn't play her precisely because she is so gimmicky, you won't learn anything about the game aside from cheesing blue ranks.
Landon Clark
Sounds like something Lucifer would post
Jace Green
The startup on ff3 is a billion years though
Thomas Ward
Alisa isn't that gimmicky. Almost all of her weird stuff is unsafe. If you want to get good with her you have to rely mostly on basic, "honest" tools.
Landon Bailey
>Akuma >good for learning fundamentals
Tyler Rivera
If you're putting effort into learning the game at all you can easily avoid Alisa's gimmicks and play a basic poking game that'll be good to learn with.
Sebastian Martin
ff2, not ff3
ff3 still pretty good tho
Ethan Reed
What a load of nonsense. Alisa teaches you how to play neutral and relies heavily on movement for those whif punishes. You can play her gimmicky but you won't get far at all, beside what gimmicks are you talking about? Fly gimmicks, DES gimmicks, or simple stupid shit like snake edge?
Ayden Price
You're playing a Mishima my man. You can be offensive effectively with wave dash mixups even as the 'defensive' Mishima. EWGF is the best pressure tool/whiff punish you could ask for.
Jaxon Moore
The defensive/offensive dichotomy is not an absolute one
Nathan Gray
Oh, yeah ff2 is great mid f4 is what you should stick to tho because it combos on CH and is + on block and frametraps into his most damaging launcher
haha tekken bowl but seriously when are they gonna buff Chloe
Dylan Phillips
tbf there's a decent amount of Alisa shitters in low ranks who use all the moves that have her jump like hopkick, 1+2, b3+4,3+4 etc. nonstop. But if you actually care about improving it's not a big deal. It's all easy to counter so it's likely you'll get blown up sooner than later for abusing them and realize why it's gimmicky.
Hudson Murphy
>It's all easy to counter >doesnt say how hmm I woder who could be behind this post
Ryder Watson
Haha just side walk left haha and punish it how hard can it be haha
James Moore
>block >she's in recovery for three days >launch her with your iTwoDays launcher
Matthew Russell
I'd give my left bollock to have that costume for Lee or King
Nathan Nelson
>Bryan teaches you to rely on easy safe strings and snake edge Literal fucking kyu detected. Bryan's strings are more linear than your family tree my man, and no one beyond blue ranks will get hit by random snake edges unless you make a hard read to catch them moving/crush a high. In fact if anything snake edge teaches not to get too low happy because when it gets blocked you lose half your health.
Jaxon Rivera
Sidewalk avoids most of them clean
Logan Ross
>everyone plays braindshimas
Brandon Davis
Is there any one of these greens that is "the best" to learn with or will picking any of them help me in the long run?
Carson Morris
>no one beyond blue ranks will get hit by random snake edges h-haha yeah, retards
William Cook
Dude are you retarded? There's not a character in this game without a launcher to punish that shit with.
