Been driving for 6+ years

>Been driving for 6+ years
>Still fucking stall on inclines sometimes

Use your clutch more aggressively.

>handbrake
>???

$500 and an afternoon will fix that

This is a joke right?

Been driving stick for maybe 2 or 3 months now. Haven't stalled since after the first couple of weeks

Step on the gas

unironically correct
/thread

just rev a little before you let the clutch out?
ive only driven for 4 hours total and even I know this

>didn't even stall when learning to drive

Maybe you people shouldn't drive

Is making these same threads some kind of fetish if yours?

Just like parking, go to a quiet place and train it for an hour or two few fays a week. You'll get much better and stress less when in real traffic.

You need a larger engine.

ttATAKATAKATAKATAKATAKA

Quads confirms it as an alphonse thread

I haven't driven stick in almost 15+ years, my older brother used to have a 90-something Civic that I played with in the driveway when I was 14 or so, and for a short time with my dad's old '73 f100.

Now I'm thinking about getting a new car, and have no idea how to practice driving manual. I have a sister with a fuccboi ST but she won't let me near it and all my friends have autos. I'm really wondering what I should do, can't even test drive the manual versions of cars because I'm worried of stalling out during it.

I feel you, user.
>EJ207 swapped my LGT awhile back
>Literally no torque down low compared to the original EJ255, god forbid we compare it to the 5.0 in my Ferd I still use as a daily
>Nearly stalled today on a hill with traffic inches away

If I'm not wearing my everyday comfy shoes I struggle to drive my Subaru.

See >Friend has been driving standard since he was 16
>He's 24 now
>Always big v8s and diesel farm equipment
>Asked me why I like my high revving engines
>He's never had the fun of revving to the moon before
>Took him for a ride out to my favorite stretch of road
>Shadows the river, full of Twisties
>Let him drive the Subaru after the swap
>Nearly stalled it just finding the bite point - heavy clutch doesn't help
>He was shifting short as he would his 14' Camaro SS
>On the return trip I told him to go for it
>He was still shifting early, about 4.5k as the boost turned into a slingshot
>His face when I told him to run it to 8k
>His face when we finally got to run to third gear

He still prefers his V8, but I think he now understands.
>Still able to set a better time down at Waterford hills road course in my Subaru than he can in his Camaro

Can't wait for this EJ207 to go so I can swap it out for the EJ257 I bought from Crawford. I'll end up swapping it out come spring if it don't go by then

>You need a larger engine.

How do they drive econoboxes with anemic 0.66L engines?

Probably some peps truly suck at driving. I believe OP sucks at driving as well.

There is no remedy for that. Even practice wont make it perfect (taking into account OP has been driving for years and haven't mastered clutch pedal).

>mass and energy has been interacting with mass and energy for 6 years
>mass and energy still interacts with mass and energy
zomg no

HAHAHHAHA GET THE FUCK OFF THE ROAD YOU RETARDED PIECE OF SHIT BAHAHAHAHAH WTF HOW DO YOU STALL AFTER 6 YEARS BAGGGGAAAAHHH GABAGOOOOOOLIO BAHHHHHAAAA

>your friend cant read the tachometer
>cant see the redline
>needs to be told be you
>camaro owner

Watch YouTube vids to make sure you at least remember what to do. Any respectable salesman would understand if you explain it to them.

>tfw learned how to perfect hill start from exploring trails in the mountains.

Once you get good it really doesn't matter how steep of a hill youre on, you wont roll back and you wont stall. just let the clutch out until the engine is about to stall and quickly move to throttle to give revs and modulate the clutch at the same time.

>Thinks you shift at the redline
Hello busrider

>485 horsepower
>on steep railroad incline next to a cop
>light turned green
>smoke the tires and I think I went airborne over the hill
>get pulled over
get bitched out but no ticket

Why won't your sister let you?

use the handbrake you retard

Handbrake can only be used to park in my country

Do you happen to watch Rick and Morty?
