You know what they say: "A kickstarter in the hand is worth more than an electricstarter in the bush".

this is not news. every company in every industry does this

Kevin Carter
Its a useless turd. No one cares
Parker Walker
>one only has 2 wheels and therefore unstable
>the other has 3 wheels and will never tip over and is the bike of choice for Rossi
The future is now! How will 2 wheelers ever recover?

Angel Martinez
Just a practical guy. Where's your ducati? Oh wait...
Matthew Lee
It's OK, user, you're allowed to have your wrong opinions.
Matthew Watson
Ok /dbt/ humour me because clearly im a fucking idiot. Why is say the Ninja 650 a perfectly recommended second or even first bike, but an R6 is not despite having 50cc less? Because ones a twin and ones an inline 4?
I know pretty much jack shit about engines bigger than my single cylinder 125 that Im now looking at replacing after a year and a half on it. How different do parallel or inline twins feel compared to inline 4s? Im not actually looking at either of those bikes, they are just examples. Just after a bit more information before i commit to buying anything.
Might just get an R3 or something and baby step my way up to the FZ-07/09 ive always been after.
Caleb Cook
I know. It's been pissing down...and that's the most recent photo I have. Is that a hornet 600? Are they nimble?

it has like 60% the power of an R6 and powerband is a lot peakier

4cyl has more power in general 2cyl is easier to manage in general Just get an FZ07. They are easy to ride and you won't get bored
Henry Nguyen
>meme generator
Gavin King
Indeed a Hornet 600, and it's surprisingly very nimble. Changes direction easily, with a nod of the knee. It's also somewhat light, weighing in at 200 kg with full tank.
Zachary Adams
>implying i dont own a ducati Its the only broken bike i own
Logan Martinez
fuck rain, fuck oil, fuck gravel, fuck the cold, fuck wind, fuck potholes. The only thing I havn't been fucked by since getting a bike is a fit bird. I'm starting to think this biking malarkey isn't all its cracked up to be.
Asher White
Twins have a linear torque progression as RPMs increase, I4s have a exponential increase in torque as RPMs increase. You can fairly easily throw yourself from an I4 with a poorly timed downshift or overapplication of the throttle, hence Death By Throttle
Brody Campbell
Convince me not to buy a grom.
Jeremiah Young
no, you deserve the humility if you're considering one
William Hall
honda's gonna release a cb125r soon.
dunno if it'll come to burgerland, but I'd wait and get that instead.
Gavin Perry
post bread on tire
Christopher Williams
Thanks guys, one last thing. Whats a triple like?
Jack Taylor
Not as rev happy as a 4 banger, more vibration than a v twin and wholly uninteresting powerband It's a nice compromise, but a compromise nonetheless
Justin Wright
That swingarm, though...
Eli Morris
Also keep in mind the er6 (calling it ninja 650 is an insult to the good ninjas) is a parallel twin, arguably the worst engine configuration of you like fun It's great for fuel economy tho
Jeremiah Thompson
I know ;~;
If I could change it, I would
Aaron Sanders
Why? Its the ultimate soda runner
Oliver Sullivan
125cc simply isn't enough to move at comfortable speed outside of a city or slow roads, and the thing is tiny, giving you very poor visibility which increases your risk of getting crashed into
You can buy a non meme 125 that has better visibility, will be cheaper to insure and won't get stolen as quickly for far less
>t,bong YBR owner who rides a 125 everyday and plans out trips on dual carriageways like rossi plans a corner
Connor Diaz
>R6 hp max >~120 at 14,000 RPM >Ninja 650 HP max >70 at 8,000 RPM Engine size isn't everything
Christian Thompson
This. It's really dangerous to be slow on two wheels.
Jack Martinez
Similar to an i4 but with a flatter torque curve and better low end power, in exchange for being less revvy. But there aren't really any triples out that are good for a first bike, even the street triple is a bit much.
Samuel Evans
>wholly uninteresting powerband You've clearly never ridden a triple before.
Robert Green

Are Hayabusas a meme? Considering buying one.
Asher Ramirez
wr 125

a Hayabusa is likt a ZX12R if the ZX12 diddn't corner and had 10 less horsepower.
Julian Russell
they're well balanced at speed, I thought they were pretty comfy when I demoed one
Jordan Flores
That's my old bike. It was fantastic, people in America have to put up with squids and Africans doing stupid shit on them but they're a fucking beautiful machine. So much bang for your buck.
Is my new one...its better than the busa in every way except IMO, the busa is a better looking bike.
They're both quite heavy, you can use the power without wringing it's neck, and certainly you can wring it's neck...but there's never enough tarmac or license points.
Anthony Williams
Apparently they are nice sport tourers, too bad a lot are stretched.

Are those forks adjustable? Can you feel the cheap backbone frame and box swingarm flex? Like any chain or brake rubbing?
I have an FZ6 on commuter duty and it's ugly as sin and the fancy pants frame gets in the way of all my maintenance efforts.
Levi Cook
BN-125 for $995, yay/nay? It'd be for memes and commutes to class
Jonathan Morris
Any recommendations for a first non literally who brand helmet?
I have an agrius at the moment and it protects my head just fine but its pretty loud and is bulbous as fuck
Hunter Morgan
this is the most shameful "itasha" ever. you just slapped random Veeky Forums memes on it.
if you gave me a choice between showing up to work with all my anime hating pals on a bike with a livery dominated by one anime girl and this i'd pick the first one because it would at least have some meaning and a little value as a show bike/garage queen
Nicholas Ross
I'll do a proper itasha eventually I still want it to be "tasteful". Also the subframe has this weird texture and they don't stick to it.
William Phillips
>tasteful You have a crying anime girl in an autism hat on your bike
Michael Hall
>Veeky Forums memes >tasteful

Does anyone know how to install bar end mirrors? I can't get the piece inside my handle bar to come out. Its deep in there and won't wiggle out.
Ethan Baker
those tend to rust in and once you get them out they don't like to actually go back in and stay there because the metal clips are inadequate once bent, and if you botch the resintall with new clips you're fucked all over again
see if some chink on ebay sells ones that screw in to your existing bar weights
Xavier Rivera
Use a shock on the end bolt first, try heating the bolt with a soldering iron and then shocking it a bit, then cool down and try again. Might persuade it?
