I might be getting a 5th gen, kinda hype desu.

I was going to get a 4th gen a week ago, but the cost of dealing with its muffler and tires would have ended up being more than the car itself.

I dunno, I think 4th Gen sucks ass, 5th Gen is alright and 3rd is best (1st and 2nd are all pretty much too rusty to use here), however I don't know about the highest possible speed of an H22a5, I don't know about VTEC after installing the H22 in a 3rd Gen car or generally how hard it is to install it, also as I am German how it is with the models as here we don't have the Si and S models and I don't know about costs of repairing the air conditioner on the 3rd Gen.

My 1987 2.0 Si
I got it for $440. It has 233k miles.
It is not in great condition, but that's what I'm here to fix.
Runs great, though, absolute blast to drive.

Haven't driven this in 4 years. Still got it sitting in the driveway. Body is in near mint shape but the clutch is blown and brakes are bad. Jeep takes all my money.

2001 SE model, full leather interior, fully loaded, full factory lip/sideskirt kit. I always kept it bone stock despite other people egging me to turbo it or lower it or stance it.... Miss driving this beauty, she'll get fixed up one day.

I am loathe to get rid of this car. Compulsively bought this thing from the dealership 2nd hand a few days after my dad passed away years back in 2011 and it was one of the few escapes I had in those dark days. I do plan on restoring it to its full glory and maybe even do a few tasteful mods. Swap out SH rims for regular blades but polished up and sticky tires. Supercharge it and put a nice suspension kit in it. Its just work

Im a middle Franconian working class male from rural area and i drive a Honda Prelude.

most Honda driver in Bavaria are 20 something dudebros or Soviets (Russian, Czeach, Polish etc.)

i had to chose between the Prelude or an E46 BMW

I still never understood why the prelude is wrong wheel drive. It looks rear wheel drive and if they only made that transition it would be a great drift car

it has 2 litre vtec with good torque and room to add more capacity
so sometimes its engine gets swapped into rwd platform

also its where they topped out fwd limitations
other makers do this too like Honda rafaga and Citroen 15/6

How does it run?

Anyone in Australia know where I can order front and rear tie rods for 1988 3rd gen 4ws? They are meant to be slightly larger, hence why the normal 2ws don't fit. That or my control arms have been changed by the previous owner. Even Honda dealership couldn't get them.

Call an über?

Still runs great. Previous owner did a lot of work on it. Just trying to source parts in Australia is a pain for the 4ws.

It's not great, but it's honestly better than a lot of other cars. Only my Civic has a better cup holder

almost ended up with one too, but then i had a chance to drive a miata
nevertheless, it's an excellent car

Also, this is a good thread for a question:

What do you guys think of bare carbon fiber on Preludes? I've been sitting on a carbon OEM hood, along with a full carbon lip kit from Seibon (OEM-style front Mugen-style sides and rears). I can't decide if I should install them as-is, or have them painted. I might get a carbon trunk too if I don't paint everything.

No rush on figuring it out, I've had this stuff for a few years and it's not getting installed until spring at the earliest.

depends on what color car you have. I actually like the carbon since the hood is very heavy.
