I'm quite fond of my EG hatch. The seating position is much lower than your normal FF econobox.

What's wrong with the EM/EG?
The bus must have amazing handling, since it's RWD right?
But FWD is boring, my man

Op here, I live in Romania, where snow is pretty common. Awd vehicles are a bit out of my range and rwd cars don't really work ok snow without very good tires. Fwd are the most common type of transmision in Romamia.
Pic is not related, just my dream car beeing sold close to me but no money (insert sad Iketani face)

Oh yeah, EF, EG, and dc5 Civic and inte are alright too. 7th gen Celica is acceptable too
You can do better than a riced out FD.
I love anything that is japanese. Too bad most don't have a left drive option (I am looking at you Nissan Skyline)
How’s romania ? I’ve never met someone from there
Fwd a shit
>A good fwd that has good handling and good for racing in general?
BMW M3 in reverse.

JUST
fwd once introduced into world rallying has been dominating rwd ever since
BS
Have you seen any successful RWD rally car in the past 20 years?
There are none. Even in amateur rallying FWD dominates RWD.
I know it's hard to accept for bus drivers, but your RWD tofu box won't magically make you drift around corners faster than a properly driven FF.
Civic. Here's one with a few simple mods.

Who would win:
An entire field full of WRXs, Evos, and other modern AWD babbymode rallycars?
or
A guy in a mid 80's Escort he borrowed from his dad?

>that video
What a god. Was a blast to watch him go.
Still doesn't change the fact that from a technological standpoint RWD is inferior to FWD in many (but definitely not all) situations
Man, i'd argue against any dorito from Romania since most of the drivers around here are retards when it comes to actually taking care of an engine, especially one as needy as a rotary. You'd have to pump atleast another 2-3000 euros in that mazda for engine rebuilding.
What's your budget for a car?
In weather it is pretty nice because it is balanced. You get warm summers and cold winters. There are 2 kinds o people in here, the normal Romanian people (most of Roman descent since we were Romanized a while ago, that's where the name of country comes from) and the Romani people aka Gypsies. These buggers usually steal, work minimum wage and cause neighbourhoods to go to shit since they are really aggressive and steal a lot. And that's Romania for you.
Almost forgot, fuck the corrupt government.
It is just a car that I admire and would own if I was a bit more rich, I don't necessarily want one. My budget is 5000-7000 euros max, something like that.
P.S I also drive my father's old VW Lupo diesel, 60 horses. It is just not enough for me. I plan on going to tracks too and the 0-100 16 second time won't satisfy me.
I know, I was mainly answering the bit about there being no successful RWD rally car in the last 20 years.
Funny thing is he drives an FWD Hyundai in WRC. He was just home on break in NZ and decided to enter Rally Otago with an RWD as a handicap. He won the event, not just his class, against modern cars with AWD drivetrains. He was also using an H-shifter instead of sequential.
Fuck that is an ugly car fuck
It is the only RX7 in Romania for sale online, no other choice..
Wait for a good RX-7 to pop up or import one from Germany. You're in no rush.

and these are the only driveable FDs here and they're not much better
if you want something powerful and also on-budget that's a fwd get a GTI(either mk4 polo or mk5 golf). They are cheap and affordable.
Cati ani ai?
Cati ani de permis ai?
>Funny thing is he drives an FWD Hyundai in WRC

the mk3 escort from 80-86 already is FWD
19 si un an de condus, am destula experienta din moment ce am mai fost si la go-karting + condus in general
Not sure what you're getting at. I just thought it was cool that he won Otago, despite using an ancient car with a different drivetrain.
Just checked and it's a mk2, which was late 70's/early 80's, and was RWD.
*mid 70's/early 80's
I'll get it right eventually.
unde ai fost la go-karting in RO si cum ti s-a parut? Sunt interesat sa merg dar nu stiu daca se merita

Gokart Racing in Sighișoara si AMC Kart in Bucuresti.

Ford should make a mid engined version of these.

The new Type R is unironically a decent choice.
Also, look into the Speed3 and GTI.
>Making front wheel skids while it turns.
The video is obviously sped up.
Why do you say that? The kph in the graphic matches up with the video, he doesn't appear to be going faster than the monitor is showing. His arms aren't moving erratically like they would in sped up footage. Engine sound seems normal. It looks legit to me.
He is flying but I need better reasoning than 'obviously'.
