Flails need to be given air control, variable bounciness and other fun fixes, and then replace yoyos. I'm so miffed that most competitive weapons are beam swords. Why can't there be some more variety?

I just got the shield of cthulu and whenever I walk in a direction it autodashes a few moments later and keeps autodashing. This does not happen if start pressind A or D in the air or enter any other directional input while holding down A or D. It's annoying as fuck and I want it to end, how do I do that? Balance weapon damage and armor defense so that you can have increased gear variety. IE, all gear would be set to the same general tier in terms of damage/defense, taking into account a weapon's general accuracy and any other bonuses it might have.
