It was a very enjoyable run that wasn't able to show off its full potential in a marathon setting. I'd recommend watching it at least twice.
The runner wanted to finish under estimate. He could have easily finished the run, however he would have needed to reset once again.

it was a seeded RNG run (exploited trainer ID to get a masterball and track RNG) but he reset like 5 times and didn't get it so he switched to a backup save, but fucked up his RNG tracking, so then had to do backup strats, got half way through the game, switched to another copy of the game with a pre-completed to pretty much the end of the game version with a bunch of trained pokes and other shit we couldn't see.

on that backup pre-done save, he STILL couldn't fucking beat red, and got wiped like 5 or 6 times, because he fucked up RNG again.

it was the same guy who ran animorphs so it should have been expected by everyone

That's not what happened. The only thing we didn't see was him actually catching Raikou. However, he explained it and showed the exact square the encounter would happen.
