just updated the construction skill guide with parts of this but whatever
for everyone going for gilded altars you can boost to 75 at 72 using teak kitchen shelves 2, this still costs 200k in gold leaf but saves you 300-500k-ish after that cost, about 3x that figure if you're buying oaks instead of cutting them
you can also try boosting 5 levels at 70 with spicy curry and the time involved to grind out the orange spice will probably be shorter (plus you'll prolly save another 200-400k min), but that's still a huge pain in the ass
addendum: boosting to 75 at 73 to try and save money using oak shelves 2 doesn't really work, the minimum cost is 178k if you visit the sawmill yourself or 203k if you have the human butler do efficient trips while you boost to 74 to build oak larders. A complete waste of time if you're dropping the skill after you get your house altar.
Also for all you poorfags you can make tea from oak shelves 2 at level 45 to boost to 47 for a mounted glory ammy
