Why don't people remove the dealership emblems/plate frames/stickers from their cars?

why don't people remove the dealership emblems/plate frames/stickers from their cars?

they look horrible and are literal ads on a car

>implying I fucking dont.

Took me a while to figure out how to debadge the "carmax" logo on my tailgate without fucking up the paint. I bought their shit, no need for me to advertise their dealership for them.

In my case I haven't removed the sticker because I'm lazy

Because most people just don't give a fuck about that stuff.

It honestly depends. Some dealers have alright ones that look decent and 'upscale'.

Normies

>ever buying a car from a dealership that puts stickers advertising their dealership on it
I'd either tell them they have to remove it themselves beforehand or knock another thousand off the car desu
then again I'm not stupid enough to ever buy from a dealership

My jeep has a little bronze embossed one from a dealer in Burlington, VT which I rather like actually, it's a little bit of the history of the vehicle on there and looks pretty alright. Not gaudy or pretentious like the other dealerships ones i've seen

This
I hate dealer stickers and shit

I saw once a dude driving a silverado 2500 with some mud flaps with the dealers name on it, I think that's acceptable because that's like a functional thing and usually costs money

But stickers? No

You rarely see that shit here in CA because we don't put up with it, When I see those dealer ads on some car from a shithole like Oklahoma or Tennessee I just chuckle to myself that someone would be dumb enough to allow that on their car.

I like thicc Taco Belle better

I've got a badge from Twin Rivers Ford TN thats screwed on to the tailgate of my '90 ranger. It doesn't look too bad since it's chromed metal and matches the trim. Never thought about removing it but it wouldn't be hard at all.

I may just keep it on because it triggers calicucks

Dealer I got my car from never did this. They’re a “luxury car” dealer, so they know doing things like that will diminish its value.

But you do put up with that legalized HIV, don’t you?

Who's the girl in the pic

In 50 years when the car is a classic and the dealer is out of business dealer frames and emblems are going to be a vintage collectable item.

I've got dealership plate frames. They don't really bother me though I've thought about replacing them with plain ones

porn star

taco belle

If they're a normie, it's because they literally couldn't give any fewer shits. They barely maintain their shitboxes as it is, removing a dealer logo is far beyond their capabilities and worries.

If they're anyone else, they wouldn't have let the dealer put it on in the first place.

post more of dat fox

Because normies don't give a fuck.

I on the other hand made very sure that no dealer badges touched my fucking car before I bought it because I have autism or something.

Its ridiculous how people just dont care. I bought a 24 year old car as the 4th owner and it still had the original plates in the original dealership plate holders. First thing I did was buy some fresh black on white plates and just that alone made it so much nicer. Shitty plates actually detract from how nice your car looks significantly and shitty dirty faded yellow plates are definitely a huge drawback

t. car salesman

also nice dubs

Here where I live some dealers actually drill the fucking car and rivet their dealer tag to it. It's bullshit, and as you said with free advertising.

>tfw body shop guy removed it when he painted my car
>also removed the model badge
I just wish he took the trim badge too.

This!
/thread you autist fucks

I wouldn't finish the deal until they completely remove the badge and detail the area.

Test

It's fairly simple to debadge.

>apply heat from hair dryer/heat gun
>work it off with dental floss
>goo gone on leftover adhesive
>wash off goo gone
>wax

I know. I just wish he would have done it since he did all the others

the same reason people don't remove the intel/windows stickers on their laptops

I like my i7 sticker though

>find nice-looking Civic at a Porsche dealership for dirt-cheap
>buy it up
>my econobox come with Porsche plate frames and a "user Porsche" emblem

could be worse

Not really. It shows you were desperate enough to buy a Civic from a Porsche dealership.

>desperate
Shut up you idiot

I've never purchased a car from a dealer that came with a dealer sticker or emblem.

I always remove those.

I wanted a Civic, and someone traded it in when buying a Cayenne.
They were asking below KBB value for it because they wanted it off of their lot.

why do people continue to date 3dpd sloots?
when 2d waifus are superior in every way?

nice

Because it is a car from 2002 with the original German plate frame and I think it adds to its looks.

I left the license plate frames on my front/rear plates since I like that dealer from a nearby city. The two closer dealerships are both stealerships. So to me, having the plates shill is also my passive way of opposing those stealerships.

id give her 6 inches and a generous helping of mayo if you catch my drift my dudes

She's taken much more than that my dude

Stay mad, flyovers. We'll see you on vacation when you come out here to escape the ass clown states you live in.
