hey guys im pretty new to ffxiv and mmos in general and playing a bard. just a few questions if anyone gives a heck enough to answer. what am i supposed to be doing in large groups of enemies? just constantly DOTting stuff up? by the time ive applied my last dot on an enemy the first dot has already expired. idk if i should be doing that or just spamming quick knock

also is there a way to stop myself from targeting non-aggro'd enemies with tab targeting? its getting kinda frustrating

Tenacity and DET are for better mitigation, i don't know the exact numbers but for a main tank sounds good imo.

No word on Det, that I know of.
There are predictions that Tenacity (and stat in general) scaling will get better later on in the expansion, much like with HW. It's not a horrible stat, and it's better than parry, but it's not a dps-optimal stat at the moment.
