Anyone here have opinions on the mk5 GTI? I've read that you want the tsi engine, but anything you guys have to say would be great.

The MK5 r32 is a legend. Not too sure about the regular MK5's, but they hold the GTI name, so I assume they're pretty badass lol

Should I get a 2013 Speed3? I want one as my daily driver because I've already owned a WRX and GTI.

The size and weight of the damn thing. 160 horses doesn't sound like much, but in a 2500 pound car it goes a long way. Also it sounds better than most (((bmw's)))

The Speed3 is not good imo since they restrict torque in the 1st 2 gears. it's not that fun in all honestly. Get an Abarth or Fiesta St. They are god tier.

I read somewhere that turning off all the traction e-nannies will remove the torque restriction.

You will need a ECU flash or a piggyback to get rid of the restriction.

I got mine on blackcircles for about £350 for all 4. About £10 cheaper a corner than the Bridgestones. The Asy 2s were cheaper but I was afraid of Goodyear discontinuing them. They've both went up in price since a few weeks ago.
