Current name: >Kuroba Quattropace Launch (estimated): >1986/87
Trims: >Poverty base – RWD, 1.8L SOHC 4 Banger (most likely borrowed from another manufacturer to reduce cost on cheapest model) developing 110 bhp. Steelies, unpainted bumpers, no frills >ECO – RWD, Either base 1.8l with a low pressure turbo or a more advanced engine with a low pressure turbo, developing around 130 bhp. Aero rear hatch, aero bumpers, covered rear wheels >Base 6 – RWD, featuring the Company's in-house 2.0l straight 6 with a rev limit of 8k, develops nearly 200 bhp. Nice wheels, nicer interior, nicest spoiler, NICE. >TURBO I – RWD, Turbo charged 2.0L I6 (unknown power figures), body kit, spoilers and sports wheels. >TURBO II – AWD, Twin Turbo 2.0L I6 270bhp, body kit, spoilers, sports wheels. >DTM version, engine not decided upon yet. >Maybe Group 5 version (but that ended in 82, so….) >Maybe Rally version (Group B?) Ofc, there would be more trims based off of the base 4 and 6 (i.e. LX, GX, GT, etc), just not going to name them all. >Most trims will be available in either liftback or coupe bodies. This is not a big car, it’s a bit larger than a e30 coupe, so try to make realistic suggestions, k?
>A car designed by a bunch of autists, so what? What can I do with it? It will be simplified and put into Assetto Corsa and Rfactor ( other games might be possible too, i.e. GTA 4 and BeamNG, but that's too much to promise atm). >Have you seen another user working on the Touge racing game? Yes, we have talked, this has a strong chance of making it in that game, if not guaranteed.
lol feel free to design aftermarket taillight and bumper plate kit
Ethan Clark
Not necessarily, this is just one of the two rear ends.
Gavin Williams
I'm not sure if this is more embarrassing from a modelling standpoint, or a design standpoint, but fuck it's bad.
Lucas Ross
(you)
Josiah Hill
rip 2spoke
Charles Edwards
Its not gone, just hasn't been remade yet.
Isaac Rogers
No really, the topology is shit, you can't even maintain clean lines, details and trims are misaligned everywhere and the only design elements that work are those lifted directly from existing cars.
The end result is just poorly modeled derivative drivel.

It must be easy being autistic and to criticize other people's work on an anonymous Japanese sock cleaning image board without even showing your own work. 1. The roof is separate, so yeah, there are visible lines. 2. If you would have followed the along, you'd have known that the slope in the door is a part of the design from the beginning. 3.IT'S NOT PERFECT AND NOT FINISHED 4. the fuck are you trying to show with that circle on the rear bumper?
Go back to /3/'s cancer threads where you belong.
Adam Gutierrez
>shitting on minor fixable details on an unfinished model
All I want for Christmas is a Veeky Forums minus the retards
Gabriel Long
Wish granted, but because you’re A retard you have to leave as well.
Carson Reed
Group B ended in '86
Henry Perry
Nevermind, I am retarded and clearly crosseyed aswell
Ryan Wilson
This hoon wagoon looks sexy as fuck, keep up the good work
Eli Baker
..... wagon you say? I better get the base car finished and get working on the saloon.
Camden Richardson
Four concerns: 1. I think there are too many trim levels. Why not simplify it into base model (with 1.8L), SE (with 2.0L and nicer appearance), and GT (with standard single turbo and optional twin turbo) and all the sporty shit. Of course you don't have to use those abbreviations, you can make your own, but I just think it'd be asking too much for this fictional company to be all things to all people. Special shit like DTM, Group 5, o lo que sea, could be appearance packages on existing trim levels.
2. AWD should be offered on other trims, not just the Turbo II, for those of us who don't need turbos but don't want to be completely helpless in northeastern winters.
3. Have you decided on transmissions yet? If we're talking an '87 launch you could use Borg-Warner AX5 (5MT) and AW4 (4AT). Then in '88 when the AX15 is introduced, switch to it since it's much stronger. MT should be standard on all engine configurations, don't do that shit that other manufacturers do where the big engines are AT only.
4. How's the interior coming along? Has anyone even started on interior design?
Carson Martinez
>It must be easy being autistic and to criticize other people's work on an anonymous Japanese sock cleaning image board without even showing your own work.
My work is shown on television, movies and games every day, I have no problems showing it.
If all you were looking for was circle jerk, hug box validation, then you came to the right place, if you were actually looking to get better and produce work worthy of showing people, then you might need to pull your head out of your ass and sperg less.
Nathaniel Hernandez
Hey, my dad works at Nintendo too! What department is yours in?
Aiden Ramirez
If what you are saying is true, then show it.
I haven't been modelling for even a year, this is just practice. And please, if you are trying to help someone improve then actually help them, provide some tips on how to do x better, you know?
Wyatt Rogers
>Veeky Forums designs the Nissan S-chassis
SCUMBAGS

Oliver Evans
>I'm a professional football player I'm on TV all the time so it doesn't make me look like an ass when I give shit to peewee players for not doing things the way I do while giving no valuable input
Yer a cunt, Harry.
Landon Hughes
those engines need less turbos 1.8 r4 r5 and r6 based of r4 (same bore and stroke) and only r6 should be turboed (single and twin trims)
James Wood
Nice Prelude/Supra/Silvia you got there.
Jaxson Edwards
> details and trims are misaligned everywhere
So its just like every 80s shitbox?
Dominic Morris
I feel like we've reached a point where this is pretty much done. We've all had a finger in the batter, we've all contributed somewhat and it's time to move on. Lest we keep going with this project and it stagnates to the point of shitposting. I'm ready to make a new vehicle.
Nathaniel Martin
if you need inspiration, i think 350z is too round
Elijah James
I made some modifications. It's perfect now.
James Richardson
This thing still need and interior and all the trim sorted and modeled. THEN Readone for Assetto Corsa and Rfactor.
It's a long way from a new car, mane.
Luis Bell
Ah shit. Fucked up the spelling on that one.
Jaxon Moore
...
William Hall
Why do you keep shilling this thread. You are making a mark 3 supra combined with small elements of an s13. Every goddamn thread someone says this you're just too fucking retarded to pay attention. Even the trims are almost exactly the same minus the awd in the lat one. Jesus dude do some actual fucking research.
Jose Kelly
(you)
David Rivera
>what is having fun
William Carter
Does wunderbaum come include with the car? This better have a casette player so I can get all my eurobeat playing.
Eli Hall
when the exterior is done and I start fully working on the interior.
tell me again, how is this a supra?
Jaxon Bell
Not him, but it's not It's more like the retarded offspring of a Starion and a Silvia
Charles Hernandez
@18201966 >posts an FC with a bodykit
Jeremiah Nguyen
It kinda looks like a Foxbody with popups and a Silvia/Supra-esque rear end.
The Foxbodyness makes it look like some ugly duckling.
Leo Sullivan
...
Christian Gray
And that weird line that starts after the front wheel kinda reminds me of Subaru XT/SVXm, but not quite.
Camden Moore
I feel as if the design process of this car was done in the wrong way. Not to just sound like I'm shitting on the work put in or the threads or anything, I dont mind and think Veeky Forums making a car is pretty neat, but the fact the car was made to fit into a specific era of automotive design shows very clearly with how boring and uninspired the car looks. It honestly just looks like a few other cars mixed together to try and look 80's as possible rather than a new car that would have came out in the 80's that was trying to stand out for itself if that makes any sense.
Sebastian Ward
i love this meme
stop complaining and let him work he's been going in the right direction lately, i'm very satisfied with the final headlight shape it's not a bad thing if it's somewhat similiar in details to other cars
William Rodriguez
not him but if you're gonna do sheet metal modelling, you should use a proper CAD program with C2 continuity checks
Brandon Phillips
also I really have no idea what you're trying to do with that window line I tried telling it a few threads ago already
Lucas Martinez
also also, when you start using a proper CAR program, don't go all by hand as you're doing right now use geometric guiding curves and generative surface filling
Reduce rear glass, give passengers a big window, add more roof
Luke Roberts
>try and look 80's as possible That's what Veeky Forums has deluded itself into thinking is the pinnacle of design. Doesn't matter what you liked before you came here, you have a fetish for 80's wedges and pop-ups now and you're gonna fucking like it
Jeremiah Hernandez
>this entire post make it a board banner
Cameron Gomez
Add more mass / height at the bottom to make it look less thin.
Kevin Turner
>My work is shown on television, movies and games every day, I have no problems showing it. >but he wont
Alexander Bennett
...
Charles Watson
Then give it an interior and finalize the trim levels already, all you've done since the 2nd thread is tweak the body shape and spitball engine ideas with newfag. It's time to get to the next part, what's holding you back?
Matthew Martin
So what should the next Kuroba vehicle be? I'm thinking a little 3-door rear-engined compact. Ludicrously light, Twingo-esque happy face, options for bare-bones econobox or hot hatch, etc.
May as well brainstorm the next project, since the Quattropace is just about done.
Liam Cruz
something rear engined
Justin Edwards
>Kuroba that name will never seem right to me...
Jaxon Adams
This, I know it sounds ambitious but we should be focusing on a small lineup of vehicles. I like the idea of an actual people's car as OP suggests and think we should design a shitbox next
Brandon Richardson
What about a Porsche-like RR shooting brake?
Andrew Morales
>rear engine >ever What are the benefits? From what I've seen it just makes handling worse.
Liam Smith
Wait, is this a new pasta?
Noah Gonzalez
wut
are your pants on your head?
Luis Garcia
I really want this for Beamng Drive
Nathaniel Peterson
gay
Lucas Diaz
I'm not going to.
Leo Hall
Will make the bonnet line a bit more straight and maybe more body moulding.
Carson Barnes
well your model will have weird ass wrinkles forever
Oliver Mitchell
Looks like a honda.
Oliver Davis
What wrinkles?
Adrian Reed
Cant we get a 3.0 i6?
Bentley Ortiz
Just almost done with a hell of a lot of fixes and changes.
doubt it.
Jace Rivera
you forgot to turn on perspective again press num5 before rendering damnit
Luis King
hey btw about that 4 door
Landon Sanchez
It was on purpose.
When the base version is done. But I believe that I will have to move forward with the project to gain more interest from other anons (I.E. make a commercial (set in the period of the car, vidya) and then do the other versions. Just a thought.
Jeremiah Lewis
Literally a nissan s12 or EXA
Zachary Miller
>literally >or
gg
Owen Morales
Don't take the b8 OP, this is the best stuff I've seen on the board in a good while.
Henry Fisher
A lot has been done, on the top of that list is the return of the connected rear taillights.
Aiden Phillips
...
Jaxon Thomas
noice
Cameron Hill
Made shit two spoke rims, post a better set if you've 'em.
Bentley Wright
Is this door handle for all the models? Please be yes.
Samuel Barnes
I guess so, I really couldn't make the more unconventional door handle work anymore.
Eli James
Yep, better choice, even on modern car fuck tarded door handles are mostly shit (a la 350Z)
Jace Diaz
the original ones from before were good the way they curved into the lip of the wheel made them seem possible from a manufacturing point of view compared to the new design
Sebastian Morris
I'm still not 100% sure about this bumper. It will change, I can guarantee that.
Brody Phillips
>two spoke rims we've come a long way
Joshua Stewart
oh, shit. I might be tarded, thought that you were talking about the front bumper....
Carson Hughes
Everytime i see this thread i say,
Kubota Quattro-paki
It's not a very memorable name considering these threads are daily.
Jack King
Come up with a better name then.
Christopher Scott
not that user, but: i like the cuatro pachay i'm not feeling the kuro thing now though, since after user pointed out it was porn-related or something
i still think Channel Motor Board (Automotive) was a good name
>inb4 ppl say you did nothing but remake the AE86
Chase Diaz
Bump
Jackson Hernandez
nooo bring back the old rear end :(
unless this is apparently the coupe version
Jack Anderson
I'd go with a name related to the board, website or the people who designed it.
Could be simply the Fortune 4, 6i etc
Or some play on Volkswagen but in a different language.
Or go along the lines of the Interceptor since Jeremy Clarkson says it's the best name ever.
The Rectifier
or just Clarkson but everytime you have to yell it like James May.
Jaxson Brown
Bumper
Anthony Bennett
don't mind the car those are trans am peace car rims gorgeous
Logan Rodriguez
>people car of Veeky Forums >literally just a starion
