Why nigga? the SABOT just flies through the thing because of how soft it's "armor" is (although if this game had realistic physics that on its own would be enough to asphyxiate or contuse the crew)

You know, despite being well armoured a-10 have very low chance for survival here since its have no sealth or good countermeasures. Also it's low af. It might be superb fighting aganist talibs or ISIS with no real air defense but otherwise it will have problems.

I know, the idea of a A-10 supressing some AA just sounded funny to me

Being low is great defense, actually.
Trees stop bullets very well, unless you are in DCS.

2 Questions about SABOW:

How do I actually request range from the commander as the gunner? The button is always grayed out for me, even after selecting a target with MMB. Sometimes I'm lucky and the commander is just randomly giving me ranges but sometimes he even assigns me targets and then just doesn't care.

Second, is there any way to reload the gun if the loader dies or do I just have to retreat at that point?
