/nepgen/ - Neptunia General #1253

Despite liking Nepgear character a lot I agree that making her the MC of mk2 and Conquest Ending were major mistakes - however I wouldn't call VII grimdark - it's a good balance between joke and serious.
If they wanted a more serious but still fitting character as MC there were both Iffy and Compa available - with Compa being the most balanced in "joke" and "serious".

Right after mk2 there are V and VII(and the spin-offs); I don't see how those 2 go in a wrong direction and fail to be funny with Neptune, so I don't get your point at all here...
