You can probably repel it by just eating for bombardier and using the siege weapons, I'm not positive though. Pierce HBG can do it for sure though.

LBG is frequently stronger than HBG now because of pierce elemental internal ammos that can be RFd. Talking MH4U CB SAED damage per shot. Plus every gun gets the benefits of limiter removal without the downsides because of arts, and for LBG the tradeoff for limiter removal was radical, which means it gets two huge benefits (reloading every ammo at once and RF). Combined with a lot of guns having internal buff and recovery ammos, it makes it really nice for playing a support role on the side without hurting your DPS much (since you can just switch ammos and switch back without reloading).

Me neither, someone from here helped me the first time and then I repeated it a few times solo with the high rank amatsu HBG and a peak performance set (also high rank) that I'd made for it. Only got the repel doing that, not the kill, but most of the harder to get materials come from breaks, not carves, anyway. Biggest downside is that it takes thirty five fucking minutes and an entire set of pierce ammo and materials.

Why not do it online? A lot of japs around HR11 grind it for the weapons, which are pretty snazzy for when you get them.

I borrowed this 3ds, and it uses Gateway to pirate stuff, and Gateway doesn't work with 11.4 that's needed for XX's online.

It matches up better than that but you're doing it wrong.

Infinite healing is something everyone cried about because they were casuals that actually used it and then wondered why everyone at their SM was a higher SL than them. I-frames being stat-dependent isn't a gameplay or mechanical flaw, fatrolling will still get you killed mitigating the power of heavy armour (plus physical defence is almost meaningless anyway), the hitboxes in Scholar are a hell of a lot better than even modern MH (or Dark Souls 1 for that matter), and enemy spam has nothing to do with mechanics, it's part of level design and comparable to GQs.
