my opinion is that im gonna fuckin buy one when the upgraded hardtop finally comes out.
Also the interior looks decent in pics but in person the cheap plastic really threw me off especially in the steering wheel hub.

Uglier, and heavier than the Miata

Seeing it in person I think the exterior looks better than a miata and the long hood means getting a nice color in it will show better.

IDK about the interiors though. I'll wait until they're cheap as shit on the used market.

with more easy tuning ability and an actually good engine

It's a Italian Miata that is better in everyway. Fiat finally got something correct.

Looks great, bit porkier than an ND (still a featherweight) but the engine makes up for that.

Don't get it with that retarded black hood though.

>Uglier
That's just, like, your opinion, man. If you grew up in an old 124, you'll certainyl prefer this to the ND.

>Heavier
Yet just as quick stock. Also, easier to tune the engine.

Interior is mostly the same.

>uglier

ND Miata's angry eyes are a fucking joke and the rear end looks like crap, 124 has a much more timeless design.

>Don't get it with that retarded black hood though.

i think it looks really good with the black hood, but like racing stripes on a Mustang its not for everyone but adds some character to an otherwise mono-color car.

However Fiat charging $2000 for the hood to be hand painted by some Wop is an outrage. im sure i can get some Mexicans to cut out a piece of flat black vinyl wrap and get it applied for 1/3 the price.

>hand painted by some chink

Made in Japan m8

the black hood is only available on the Abarth models, which are only built about 70% in Japan then shipped to Italy where they are finished by Abarth's team with Abarth's equipment. the hoods are painted there after the cars are completed then shipped out for distribution.

Italy here.

Our 124 comes with black hood as standard and if you don't want it, the standard one is free without charges.

Don't be jewed, have it painted/wrapped in a second moment.

fucking FCA.

>over 45 cuck bucks
>converts to almost 52 USD
Jesus.

It’s a hot little car...

>over 45 cuck bucks
???

Sorry, over 40,000 euro. Why ur car so expensive in pastaland?

because they can

taxes and other socialist things.

i can get a base Abarth from my local dealer for less than $30k.

fiatofkirkland.com/new-Seattle-2017-FIAT-124 Spider-Abarth-JC1NFAEK2H0114160

It's a Miata that isn't ugly and better overall.

Actually it's not even the full optioned mode...if you want full led headlights, sat nav Bose and shieet you have to pay 44-45.000€.

Everybody here got mad with these prices because it's a steal (we can't even legally tune our engines because we pay taxes on the original hp figures) but if they chose to do so it's because some cuck actually would buy it for this amount of money.

It's the same as the 500 Abarth, although the base model starts from an """acceptable price""", you could easily reach 30k and over € for that car.

Since it's fashionable and hold the value steadily (the opposite of the American 500), that's it. People still buy them and FCA makes money.

I forgot to say that at the moment they're discounting the car 4-5000€ so the real price is like 35-36.000€.

A 2.0 160 hp MX-5 top grade (sport) costs 29.900€

>Implying a cheap retro styled fiata is better

looks good
nice interior, sort of
basically just an ND miata with a body kit and drivetrain swap

stock tune is fucking HORRIBLE. all midrange no bottom or top end. aftermarket tune is almost a requirement

the engine is capable of a lot of power without any internal mods, especially if you're willing to replace the turbo (which is easy because it's right on top of the engine). in the 500 abarth which is where the engine comes from, getting to 250 whp is reasonable. the only reason people don't go higher is because the 500 abarth transmission shreds then

the ECU on the 124 has yet to be cracked so tunes are a little limited

rumors of a coupe but probably just rumors

they're holding their value WAY WAY better than i expected, they're also rather rare

More classy than the Miata, faster than the Miata

>quad exhaust outlets on a 4 banger

Because Fiat decided to sell them for that much in whole yurop.

They're just preping for the inevitable LS swap

Fucking amazing

I know of at least 2 tunes out so far.

The Eurodrive flash goes to to 200whp/220wtq with no other modifications. Stage with intake/exhaust/injectors and factory turbo is projected to be 240whp/260wtq

It's good.

>sohc
>in (CURRENT YEAR)
wew

did someone crack the ecu yet? there are tunes but they're honestly kind of hacky

also has someone made an exhaust that makes it sound just like the 500 abarth because that's like, top tier 4cyl exhaust note

>implying all of those are real.
At least they still look like exhaust pipes though.

Well then it's just rice.

By that definition, every car sold today is factory riced, since they all have to do something retarded with their exhaust. Blame Lexus for starting that trend.

Then I shall remain austistic.

Why can't they at least attach it to the tip. They all look so disgusting, either they're offset or they're like 10 feet behind the bumper tip.

Pasta lavista

I would really like a 124 targa.

They are real though...
