I think that so far it's shaping up to be better than IV's once it's actually complete in 10 years. Especially because of Alex.

theyre not simply rebooting comics with minorities, theyre also giving them ridiculous scenarios and dialogue, like beating up hitler and having "diverse protests" against the president and stuff like that, adding memes, also sorts of shitty stuff. i heard its because marvel ceo fired a giant amount of people and hired a few cheap ass college kids. also the comic movies are soulless. see how different every comic hero movie was in the 80s and 90s. todays are all literally copy paste minimal effort explosions and 3d garbage. nothing more.

This really might be the best DBZ game. Hopefully they actually make it so that casual players can have fun, without making it too simple so that more competitive players don't have anything to sink their teeth into.
So far everything I've seen visually tells me the people making this are really making a love letter to DBZ, or how ever that phrase goes.
A lot of people are worried the game will be to casual simply because its DBZ, and I was too, but the people who have played it make it sound like while there are easy/auto combos, they aren't even close to the max damage you can do, so we'll see.
Why worry at all? I can tell you right now for free that it's going to be as minimal as they feel they can get away with and you're going to have to pay for it twice to get something even kind of decent, even then it won't be good and will only have attention due to shilling and Capcom's stranglehold on the scene.
