I really liked Cross Edge, played that shit to endgame. Even bought some DLC for even though it was just "add X skill points to your characters". I've never found another person who liked it, though.

That was the problem really. Never tried a musou game before and this just confirmed that the genre isn't for me. But I was in for the Kinoko Nasu writing in any case but it turned out to be worst of his work yet. So all in all, disappointment of the year for me.
But if you like musou's and Fate fanservice, maybe you'll get something out of it.
