Guys, fuck off - the CLA45 AMG is a great car - it's just a bit too pricey.
It's basically like if the Evo or STI became a 30-something adult - not quite as athletic or aggressive anymore, but with a bit more class and reservation. Thing comes from the factory with a hand built forged AMG 2.0L - that is pretty damn gnarly. It's funny too because Mercedes is always finding ways to get more out of it purely through software or something. It started life with something like 355hp, and now it's up to 381. People throw a downpipe and an off-the-shelf tune at it and we're at 470hp... from a factory 2.0L. You'd basically have to pay CLA45 prices to get an STI to that point and you're left with a 2.5L 20 year old engine that's stressed the fuck out.
And it's not even the T H I C C version
