>pay us, your rightful vassals, to fight those that want to destroy us all
How about no.
Easton Barnes
Stupid stuff.
Lucas Martin
So you're a history buff, heh? Name FIVE (3) historical battles and describe their significance.
Eli Russell
So some autist can easily disrupt comfy generals. Just wonderful.
Kevin Morris
I wanna try out that campaign as Mousillon. Might be cool.
Jonathan Myers
>all this unauthorized trespassing into the Forest Kings sacred realm
This is going into the book.
Kevin Adams
History and fantasy still living in harmony.
Hudson Perry
>screenshot sharing encouraged I would, but seems print screen doesn't work on medieval 2 with my version of windows, just puts a black rectangle onto the clipboard. Seems to be a common problem having googled it, but can't be bothered to install any of the suggested extra programs to fix it.
Anyway, long story short, in my current denmark campaign the papal states have got a crusade army on its way to Cairo. I didn't know that could happen.
Brandon Gonzalez
Why are the Onagers removed from DEI even though they were invented in like 400bc
Ethan Powell
Launch it through steam and take screenshots that way.
Anthony Stewart
It's just elves, and they are pretty colorful at that too
Jack Flores
The map is pretty nice and well detailed, at least.

If you haven't played Orion elves yet, get the office that unlocks the wild hunt. Surtha Ek ain't got shit on a wild rider wild hunt meme stack.

Now see, this is the kind of respect that Orion is owed!
>traitor
Gonna have to work on your manners though.
Connor Allen
Oh yeah, forgot you could add non-Steam games to Steam.
So, here's proof, a papal states crusade army. Pls no bully over my retarded expansion directions.
Oliver Diaz
It is now July, a chill wind blows in Naggaroth but the sea of malice is beginning to thaw. From Ghrond, a messenger comes bearing word of an ancient prophecy involving the lands of north Lustria. The Hag Queens offer many sacrifices to Khaine to gain more of his favour. Meanwhile the Druchii of Clar Karod whip their slaves ceaselessly in preparation for the Witch-Kings coming campaign. A great fleet is being assembled for but one purpose, domination by a best elf soon!
Jacob Gray
>spoiler
Seems pretty natural for Denmark. Scandinavian interests in Northern Germany and the baltic is historical. Invading England would be more memey
Wyatt Carter
I applaud and approve of your combination of cancerous elf memes.

How is this mod called which changes the color of your interface?
Asher White
*fails to obtain ceasefire treaty*
Jaxson Bailey
>press next turn >*diplo bow*
David Clark
Only a handful of turns and these idiots are already fighting each other. I'd join in and grab some territory but Beastiebois are at the border so I'll have to deal with that first. But now is the time for sleep.
>Bows in front of player's city every turn for ten turns.

Lindy may be wrong about certain things but his autism for ancient civilization accuracy is strong.
Christian Nguyen
so it won't be frank miller's 300: carthaginian Boogaloo?
Nathaniel Harris
Lindy will spend 30 minutes ranting about sandals in Rome or inaccuracies in modern movies depicting medieval/ancient societies. He cares a lot about that subject.
Ayden Brooks
why is it that whenever i attack or defend in a non capital city in warhammer, you never actually fight in the city, but outside, unlike the previous games
Asher Peterson
No idea why they did that. There's a mod on the workshop for it (Minor Settlements). They're a bit awkward for the AI but I'll take it over nothing at all.
Ayden Hughes

Alexander Cook
Soon.
Noah Morris
reminder that Lindybeige claims:

Stop mentioning this lackwit fucking bearded retard on this board
Jaxon Martinez
There are only walled sieges. You can get on non-capital settlements if you build the garrison building. It's sad, but you can also do this
Nathan Wright
KHAZUKAN KHAZAKIT HAAAAAAAAAAAAWVRHJQIHR
Eli Barnes
I was wondering where you've been.
Austin Sullivan
I watch his videos and I can tell you most of that is incorrect. 0/10 didn't even mention Bren vs Spandau. -2/10 if this is pasta
Carter Perry
I got Warhammer recently, and I'm playing Dwarves for my first campaign
Are they supposed to be... boring? They have the most generic soldiers I can imagine.
Nicholas Cruz
Go away lindy, go and stick your dick in a panther exhust pipe again
Gabriel Sanders
It's almost midnight in the UK on a monday night. You think that there are any brits here right now?
Liam Jenkins
Pretty much. All of their fun stuff is either late-game or just plain bad Vamps and Greenskins have all the fun bits
Luke Turner
Maybe I'll try out Empire or Bretonnia or something.
Hunter Williams
Empire is fun. Just watch your back.
Michael Peterson
Empire is difficult, not the faction, but dealing with the pressure all around you.
Bretonnia is difficult because you have to be REALLY good at managing your cavalry. Otherwise your peasants will go down quickly.
Alexander Ross
Surtha Ek reveal tomorrow.
Jordan Flores
ASININE MORTAL
Charles Thompson
OH BABY
Cameron King
Ugh, I hate factions like that. I'll try out Bretonnia, 'muh knights' sounds fun.
Cooper Hughes
>Ugh
You must go back.
Chase Carter
Empire have really fun battle play, but their campaign can be a real gooey mess. Some people love Bret battle play, others don't. If you know how to hammer & hammer, then you should be good to go.
Jason Smith
Man, Empire campaign is fun, but after some point, it just abruptly dies out. You go from "Holy shit, fucking backstabbing Elector Counts, Orcs, Skarsnik and Vamps fucking me up from every direction" to the just twiddling your thumbs and waiting for Archshit to finally invade you.
Jackson Gutierrez
DO NOT make allainces early as empire you will get fucked
Easton Lee
This is how far /twg/ has descended A common expression triggers someone
Julian Thomas
Stirland's revenge is worth half of a beastman army in auto-resolve.
Just thought you all should know that.
Jason Carter
>no one used throwing knives This is correct
Jaxson Harris
And it's all the diplomatposters fault. They keep shitting up the thread. Fuck your diplomats
Christopher Green
*bows in front of your princess*
heh.. nothin personell kid
John Morgan
I AM _______ AND _________
Lucas Johnson
Well that was hard and fun I didn't play any Total War for something like 3 months. It's good to be back.
Will Bretonnia try to capture Marienburg quickly? I'm on turn 5, seperatists still have one province, but I already sent force in jews direction to outrun frenchmen, hopefully my second army will deal with seperatists and reinforce Karl in turn or two.
I want to expand on Bretonnia and liberate peasants rather than fight with elector cunts anyway, but i want to delay this a bit.
Alexander Lopez
The fun is in economy management. Because you'll need it when chaos invades because their basic chaos corruption building costs ten fucking thousand.
I don't know. I just ignored it and built breweries. Maybe you're supposed to use Thanes. Or maybe you're supposed to turn every capital building into a military building so you can have level 2 forges everywhere and recruit the runemasters to cleanse corruption.
But I thought they were fun. Every unit has a defensive and shielded variety and an armor piercing >>>>>charge bonus variety. Just get rangers with great weapons. Holy fuck. They can throw them right over your lines. You don't even need to flank and they'll chew everything up. A dozen chaos armies don't stand a chance in the underway. Making alliances with Stirland and Talabecland is fine because when they get into war with the vamps you can just confederate them. Just don't ally anyone else... mostly because you want to war them to take their land faster.
Jordan Barnes

Charles Baker
so I'm finally gonna play NTW
Any must haves mods or should I bareback it the first time through?

Has there been any news in the last two weeks or so?
Joshua Lewis
What's the appropriate ratio of filthy peasants:glorious knights that should be in a Bretonnian army?.
also please tell me I can get some sort of dismounted knights eventually
Carter King
100% cav or you're doing it wrong
Elijah Cooper
Question for any lore buffs here, are Skaven the type of race to have fielded armies? From what I've read about them, they seem like the type to march in their tunnels than on the fields, but then again, I don't have too much knowledge about them. Really just asking if it's realistic or not for a Skaven army to be on the march on land.
Jack Torres
not really but iirc in the end times they didnt give a fuck and were just emerging all over the place
Jonathan Long
warhammer lore is dumb
Landon Hughes
no ur dum >:D
Luke Ross
Play vanilli and then have a go with Darthmod and if you don't like that try LME.
Daniel Parker
Bretonnian knights are always mounted if that is an option, with an exception of a few cases where prolific knights take a vow that lets them go on foot acceptably. So no dismounted knights outside of Paladins and Lords. I know, it kind of sucks, but it's their character. Highest tier infantry are foot squires.
They almost always take tunnels and attack from below settlements. It would be unusual for them to be found in a field battle of any sort.
Gabriel Lewis
>image What a clusterfuck.
Ian Ross
>Highest tier infantry are foot squires. That's... unfortunate.
So, any tips for fighting undead? They don't rout, apparently.
Cooper Miller
Kill the lord, the heroes, the carts, and let them rot.
Brody Morgan
they die instantly instead of routing dont worry about it
Grayson Jenkins
Blame the tabletop, where they didn't even have the squires. Their whole gimmick is/was as much cav as humanly possible. This may have been lessened had they had a 7th or 8th edition update which gave them new units like the other factions, but they didn't, so the backwards Bretonnians truly were left behind with nothing but a 6th edition rulebook.
When CA added them to Total War, they added a few units but kept the cav focus: Peasant Mobs Foot Squires Royal Pegasus Knights Hippogryph Knights
Ethan Jackson
*provided you're not on very hard and above
Foot squires are pretty good, just be sure to get the inexplicably popular dead knight on a stick to buff their leadership.
Wyatt Myers
What happens when they lose control, they start taking damage over time?
What about Battle Pilgrims? Are they any good?
Jacob Garcia
Yes to damage over time and yes to pilgrims, they're like a higher tier variety of empire swords.
Jordan Wright
Prince of Macedon here
Lucas Thompson
Quick march was a mistake. I am so fucking tired of reaching an army at the edge of my attack range and them fleeing and I have to chase them for 15 turns or hire a whole 2nd army. Can't cheap out on that 2nd army though because he's not running because he's weak, he's running because he's weaker than the army you've had the whole game. You know, the one with your best units.
God fucking damn it. Or you should be able to attack on quick march. Yes you'll be winded but it works both ways. If the AI catches you then you can try to turtle and use their exhaustion against them, whereas when you're the player you just want the fucking raiding army dead, doesn't matter how many die, your units likely won't wipe so you can recover later.
Or maybe I just don't understand underway intercepts. Every fucking time I'm right next to him, can't get closer because of ZoC, even though I'm attacking. But the fucking beast fuckers teleport away.
