Is Rehgar a solo healer? Does he need to only be picked on heavy pounce and murder comps?

Seems like he struggles to intervene except for Ancestral healing, but works well as part of a rape squad.

That is literally where he's best though

I'll never understand how people don't like Grubby. Both his HotS and War3 vids are extremely entertaining, he's goofy but not stupidly so, makes fun of himself, interacts with his chat and has a qt doggo.

Take the HoT on Chain Heal always. Other talents you tailor to your team comp. Most versatile is the fat mobile earthbinds. Heavy poke comps you can take the LS gives absorb talent. Always get Dog regeneration and Dog lunge damage talents.

For Rehgar.

Rehgar lacks mana efficiency. The Hot on Chain Heal increases his efficiency dramatically. No other talent on that tier even comes close.

The dog regeneration talent drastically boosts his sustainability if you actually use it (not attacking or casting? Sit dogform). Nothing else on this tier is even comparable.

The damage bonus on dog lunge talent gives Rehgar extra poke as well as being impressive team fight damage if you're repeatedly using it during engagements (you should). You can actually poke guys like Dehaka or Stitches to death or drive them off with smart use of Lunge + Earth bind + Lightning Shield if you ever find yourself facing them solo.

As I said before the other talents are tailored to your team comp but the EB talents are the most versatile.

Because it's HotS, where nobody can micro anything and unless you take illusion master you're pretty much useless. The same reason why people take Archon, because its just too hard for them.

Lighting Shield giving a Shield will sometimes be better than the HoT. Healing Totem and the 90% Slow Totem are also good depending on teams so they would be better than the wolf talents in some cases.

Don't forget most heroes with AoE, especially Arthas.

You don't WW to engage you use it to rub away and stay alive, I'll engage with WW only when the team fight is happening and people are to focused on each other
But I do take illusion master and it's great, though HoTs has the shittiest macro this side of Afghanistan

What counters mages? Feels like any character I take that tries to dive them just gets shit on and infinitely stunned
