I can definitely see some DeviantArt cringe in this but it was posted almost a year and a half ago. The latest booru uploads are much better. Some of these actually have potential to be good. A lot of stuff, actually. The first game's great in a lot of different ways, from character design to story to atmosphere to gameplay to premise to setting. It's wonderful and I rate it as one of the best indie games and horror games of the 2010s. None of the other games manage to get everything right like the first one did, but they all have their strengths. 2 also had some strong character design, and in the early nights when things aren't so frantic the atmosphere is great. 3 kind of dropped the ball character-design-wise with the Phantoms, but Springtrap is a good animatronic, and him being Purple is great. Fazbear's Fright might just have the best atmosphere out of all of the games, as well, and the story of 3 is the only time Scott hasn't dropped the ball after 1. FNAF4 definitely has the most weaknesses out of all of them, but the added wrinkle of being forced to listen for the Nightmare bots really raises the tension higher than it's been in any other game, and as edgy as most of the designs are there are still some good ones. World is a great RPG, much better than a spinoff has any right to be. Even Sister Location, which rightfully gets a lot of hate, has plenty of positives. It has some of the best "moments" of the series, for instance. Crawling through Ballora's auditorium, listening to her music and the terror that comes when she walks across your field of view, or trying to fix the power while Funtime Freddy teleports around everywhere in a tense sequence supported by the flashing lights of sparking electricity, or the feeling of panic when BonBon goes missing when you're getting F. Freddy's chip, are all moments that are nearly as strong as things like seeing Foxy run down the hall, Freddy move for the first time, the Puppet leaving the box, and Springtrap waiting at the door. They all leave strong impressions on the player. Disregarding the cutscenes, custom night was a lot of fun, too.

I really enjoy most of the content made here, no matter how dumb or stupid it may be. The FNAF universe is ripe for OC, and nearly everyone here delivers. Plenty of good art is drawn, plenty of good stories are written, and other content like the occasional voicefaggotry, quest, or even Bev's game are a lot of fun. This thread's even a nice place to hang around in when there's not a shitstorm brewing or drama getting posted. On top of all that, I still enjoy the official FNAF content we get. I just gave my opinions on the games, and even though the books are shit they still have interesting concepts, even if they never actually deliver on them. I'm excited for the movie, I'm looking forward to more games, especially spinoffs because I feel like they offer more enjoyment than the admittedly shallow gameplay of the main FNAF games, and I'm hoping we get more official stuff like a FNAF comic or something. Also I really like making OC for this place, even though I haven't posted any in a while. This series and this general have stimulated my imagination and creativity more than anything else ever has, and the feeling of satisfaction that comes from even making something, let alone getting a positive reception to it, is really nice.
