I'm planning on colouring a collection of drawn flankers in various schemes from the games.
This is my entire reference folder. Some paint schemes overlap in curious ways.
The "Su-35" in AC2, AC4 and AC5 are Su-27M, not actual Su-35, visually identical to Su-33 omitting the wing folding mechanisms.
What are some "must have" paint schemes for Su-27, Su-33, Su-35 and Su-37?
What's the most nimble plane?

Funnliy enough the Flanker with canards in Air Combat is called the Su-27, I suppose the Su-35 designation hadn't been thought up yet.
For Su-27, I think the Yuke paint scheme from 5 is bes.
For the Su-33 I'd suggest Strigon, and, of course, for Su-37 Yellow is a must-have.
Seeing as how the Su-35S didn't appear until AH, it hasn't really been in any really iconic squadrons, and I can't really think of a good livery for it.

It's likely a Su-27M, a prototype Su-35/37. The actual Su-35 don't have canards though, but before AC0 the designation was used for the Su-27M.

For the 27 I can't really think of any, and perhaps the Crimson Wing livery for the 33. And of course you have to have Gelb too.

I kinda like the design of the Nosferatu. Out of all the superplanes, it's the one that looks the most believable. At least untill it brings out the railguns and the AADM.

Yeah, that is a shame, but you'll always be able to appreciate the superior aesthetics, and that's priceless.
As for liveries, now that I think about it, I always liked the livery on the Su-27PD, that'd be a good one to put on there.
And here's the PD's livery, you've almost certainly seen it before.

For some reason I love flashy test liveries but most Flanker prototype liveries aren't, with the exception of the PD. It's weird, really.
I believe this livery from AC2, enemy exclusive, is a Su-27PD one, but I never got a good enought view to see if the underbelly is red.
It's in AC4 (Neujmin), AC0, ACX and ACJA.

Why would a full midnight blue paintjob be Cipher related? It reminded me of Navy all-blue paintjobs, tbqh so maybe I'm just blinded by that.
Although I rather like the subdued nature of most the the various Flankers' livery, I'm the same as you, I love good flashy liveries, which is why a Flanker decked out in Phoenix livery REALLY activates my almonds.

As I said in the last thread, Flanker is top tier planefu, but, IMO, the T-10 is fucking disgusting.

It the same livery as the ACTIVE's in 4, but the 15C liveries in 0 and 4 are slightly different.
I didn't agree at the time but I had only seen the schematics, which don't look that bad, but actual photos of it ruined my taste for it.
It's like a planefu manifestation of 3DPD.

I have no idea which experimental Flanker would fit a NASA livery.
Have a trainer variant for the prototype of the Su-33, the Su-27KUB. The only flanker other than the Su-32/34 with side-to-side seating.
pretty sure when it came to the S/MTD in 4 they fucked up as they called it the ACTIVE despite having 2D thrusting and only having a single seat
There was another Flanker testbed meant to break altitude records, known as the P-42, or T-10-5. It was stripped of all weapons and radar equipment to lighten it, and as such has a very barebones look to it. I think a NASA livery would fit perfectly.
The ACTIVE does have thrust vectoring IIRC, but it is single seat and thus SUPERIOR!
Posting my AC4 fanfic beginnings again to see if there's any interest. If not, I'll just move on to another project likely.
I heard claims that the F-15 Streak Eagle broke records, the P-42 took some away and holds them today but I have no idea what records those were.

I think time to altitude records were the ones that traded hands between eagle and flanker.
So it was just altitude. I thought speed was also involved. Well, it's still impressive.

What are the F-4's unbroken records?
Off the top of my head the F-4 holds the absolute production record for twin jet engine military aircraft.
It also holds a production record for highest average speed around a course while flying below 40 meters AGL.
