Buy a biltwell gringo or any 3-5 pin helmet. Attach and reinforce the hat with Kevlar/cordura/a solid plastic/fiberglass/carbon fiber and add the pins. Attach the hat to the top 3 pins. Seal the circumference of the hat with superglue. Coat the hat with some slick coating for aerodynamics.

Honda quit making those things just about the same time the 690 came out and the xr650r wasn't street legal ( dual sport ).
The Honda was a godly bike for it's time but the 690 weighs less, with an electric starter no less, has more HP and better suspension stock.
Technology marches on while Honda now only produces the XL650.
Neither can top 105mph. They lose all passing ability above 75MPH. Anyone who rides a dirtbike has an irrelivant opinion on bikes. This extends to 250 and below riders, GS500 owners, and of course, Grom brainlets.
