>sell corollas
>make a god tier sports car once a decade
>remember why you have been making corollas for the last decade
>repeat
what part of this requires your salvation

my god I would reck that thing till the skin had completely ripped off my dick from friction and I collpased from blood loss.

...

Didn't you make this same fucking thread with this same fucking pic already? Yeah you did you faggot. Kill yourself tonight

Realistically, you would have to save Japan, they aren't doing anything right.

easy there, killer

> how to save the Japanese automotive industry
Get back to nostalgia.
> bring back the 90’s sports cars
> stray away from cheap hard plastics
> make engine quality as it once was in the 90’s
> make special edition top trims of cars that are limited production with options/features that make people seek these cars out
> make cheap remakes of old Japanese 70’s-90’s classics as “reissues” and sell them for dirt cheap for poorfags and collectors
> “Mustang it up” buy making affordable performance cars that focus purely on performance and less about creature comforts and luxury
We got a plan, Nippon manufacturers. Let’s make it happen.

ur dum

There is no saving the automotive industry in general. Self driving electric couches are the inevitable end. Women are the majority of new car purchases, so car companies make cars women want, but the cars women want are shit. Women dont like driving so the car industry is trying to make self driving cars to satisfy them. Lets just enjoy our retro/classic machines while we still can before the govt outlaws drivable cars.

Save them? Nips are at the top m8. They don't need saving when your mom buys a new odessey to take you to soccer practice.
If you want enthusiast vehicles look to Germans and Americans, nips betrayed their fan base, and things like the 86 twins or the turbo z myth are just there as a scrap to stop you from leaving.
Any enthusiast who supports modern japanese vehicles is none other than the child in the family who always gets the short end of the stick.

This

Go get into something only men like, like motorcycles

When you like motorcycles, every year is the golden age of motorcycles because they literally can not stop getting better. MotoGP is a decade ahead of production and tech is constantly trickling down because unlike carfags, motorcyclists are actually really eager to buy race tech and will empty their wallets for it.

>why don't all manufacturers sell their cars dirt cheap? Poor people will be able to buy them then

Where can I find a fox gf

more like why do they do shit like sell the 86 for more than the BRZ when it's pretty much the same car

or sell a prius for less than a GT86 when it represents higher production costs and a bigger R&D investment than the GT86

>Honda stops with fast wheel drive and makes an affordable rwd sedan/coupe

>Shitsubishi should concentrate on sports cars instead of econoshitboxes because they suck at it.

>Niisan should leave renault and stop making shit so curvy

>Toy Yoda needs to just make a cheap rwd corolla and/or camry

>Mazda needs to just stop making cars look like shit in general.

Also revive pop-ups.

> sell their cars
> not at all what was stated
Making reissues of old cars with dated tech will ultimately be cheaper than making a new car with all the new tech. These could then be sold for cheaper than their modern counterparts. And it would take away from the used car market and bring people in to buy a cheap new car with a warranty rather than a cheap used car with no warranty. This is how a manufacturer would bring in a consumer base that they currently do not have.

Because if they sell too many cars with poor emissions or fuel mileage it fucks up their fleet averages under CAFE and other retarded oil crisis-era laws that have saved us maybe a handful of barrels of oil

you can't sell old tech cars in the US for cheap

you would need to modernize the chassis big time even if you lucked out on pedestrian impact shit for the EU, because the amerinazis don't think you should be allowed to drive a car that's not safe to crash in (same country that lets 18 year old girls ride hayabusas, by the way)

at the end of the day it would cost more and sell less than an econobox

What's their God tier sports car for this decade

>>Honda stops with fast wheel drive and makes an affordable rwd sedan/coupe
They need the s2k again but they would fuck it up if they tried to make it again
>>Shitsubishi should concentrate on sports cars instead of econoshitboxes because they suck at it.
They need to stop making crossovers like goddamn I miss 90s mitsu
>>Niisan should leave renault and stop making shit so curvy
Nissan makes no cars that appeal to me, not even the gtr
>>Toy Yoda needs to just make a cheap rwd corolla and/or camry
Yeah
>>Mazda needs to just stop making cars look like shit in general.
I don't agree I think Mazda makes more attractive vehicles now than a lot of other cars and they at least look more unique and recognizable than other Japanese cars
>Also revive pop-ups.
God yes

Anime conventions...

...or an escort service. Either is fine.

No it wouldn’t. Most 70’s - 90’s US-spec Jap cars still meet today’s safety regulations. There would be a select few that wouldn’t, but on the most part the concept would work. And even if they wanted to make the select few cars that wouldn’t meet today’s regulations, it would only require cheaper materials that crumple under impact in certain areas of the car.

Safety regulations like airbags, back up back up cameras, good structural rigidity, good front, rollover, and side impact protection

I don't fucking think so

Reverse cameras are not a requirement. 70’s - 90’s US-spec Jap cars do have acceptable structural rigidity save for a select few. “Good front” isn’t a regulation, rollover would be under structural rigidity, and side impact regulations aren’t that different today from 30 years ago.

Starting in 2018 backup camera will be required by law, for sale in the USA

you didn't know this?

Most automakers are already implementing them into their cars

For some reason this really pisses me off. Like, if you can't back up with your mirrors and turning your damn head, you shouldn't have a fucking license.

>Honda
They're better at FWD than RWD and always have been. Their main problem right now is that their design bounces between dull and nightmarish rice. If the new Civic R looked more like the old Integra R or the RSX-S, I'd have bought one instead of a ND.
>Shitsubishi
Dead.
>Oniisan
Dead. French. Same thing.
>Toyoda
You mean like the 86?
>Matsuda
Their design is on-point tho. They're doing a lot better getting around the flat front required by pedestrian safety standards than almost everyone else.
>pop-ups
Dead. Killed by EU pedestrian crash standards. Not explicitly, but the standards make it so that making compliant pop-ups is extremely difficult and prohibitively expensive.

It’s because of the Camaro.

Move it somewhere else so it doesn't have to pander to the government in order to get proectionist and preferential treatment.
As long as they'll be hand-in-hand making cheaply build cars with heavy incentives to buy new rather than maintain older machine,s things will not get any better.

The japanese car industry is doing fantastically, actually. It's probably the most solid out of all of them, in fact. Whether you like how this looks or not is your own problem.

>86
Its not cheap

If you're a grown-ass adult and $25K is a lot of money to you, you need to do something about your disastrous financial situation.

Japanese girls are so cu-
>finland

This, holy hell the new R1/R1M's, RSV4/Tuono's and the like have become advanced as FUGGG.

I just hope it will take a LONG AS FUCK time before bikes start coming with checksum traps

i could have bought a brand new SW20 for less than that. theres no reason to waste money on a shit sports coupe that they ram up the price for

>86
>not cheap
>52k in Netherlandistan
>44k elsewhere in Europe
Why are burgers not aware how affordable cars and gas is in the US? One of my relatives lives in Redlands CA, and visited me this summer. He legit told me a wrx sti is affordable and didn't believe me it costs 92k here until I showed him the website

New priority: to revive the car market we must execute all the communists.

Got one used for $13k

>that literal slit of a rear window
Holy fuck

1. Emissions and safety laws of today will NEVER allow most of your suggestions
2. With all the recalls and scandals within the last decade, and the gradual decaying of the Japanese economy, I don't think "engine quality of the 90's" will return in Japan.
3. Board meetings will still discuss profit over all. They will still conclude that crossovers make money
4. Move to electric cars will be the nail in the coffin.

Bonus: The whole "back to nostalgia" thing is happening in the motorcycle industry, however. Check out on that.

fuck u capitalist scum

lol

This my new favorite Veeky Forums picture.

>70’s - 90’s US-spec Jap cars do have acceptable structural rigidity save for a select few.
Not even close.

VOlvo made some of the safest cars in the world, still do, and here's how it compares to a modern shitbox.

whoops here's the volvo
youtube.com/watch?v=emtLLvXrrFs

One of my first object lessons in chassis rigidity was riding in a friend's big old Volvo. I distinctly remember sitting in the back and being able to feel exactly what the opposite front corner was doing. That was before I even knew anything about chassis dynamics.

I'd like to get back in a 240SX again to confirm whether or not what I was feeling there was the chassis flexing around.

Can't be saved

...

>there is 1 girl in this picture
utterly disgusting
shoop her out or remove this picture please

The blue one is the girl, rite? You would probably have to get on hormones pretty early as a guy to pull off that ribcage & pelvis

There's this thing called inflation that you might want to learn about. $25K today was about $16K in 1995.
Nobody cares about your commie multikulti soyhole.
The problem is that those old Volvos had fucking harsh rides and higher NVH, which is unacceptable to today's "giv comfy suckle me mummy" consumer.

Nah it's the one dressed up as a boy.

You did that to yourselves.
Cars and fuel aren't cheap here, it's taxed to hell there

You trapfags are more mentally ill than traps themselves
>visible panties with no bulge, natural looking tits, hourglass shape
>ITS A DOOD LMAO

26K with no options for a 2018
The Corolla GTS in the US in 86' would be 20k today so It's still more expensive for a not similar experience.

The tape and tuck is a lifesaver lads

i have an old car but good visibility is still not going to stop some dumb dog or kid crouching behind my car when I back out. Or heck some idiot tying their shoes behind my car.

not like that would ever happen since I'd check around my car before I start it but it's literally a blindspot. Will I even feel or hear a 10kg kid or small pet if I start backing up with a soundproofed 2 tonne car?

>Furfags
what a disgrace

more importantly,
How can we get them to release uncensored 3D hentai games?

This is why I support TSA bodyscanners.

im gonna have to call bullshit on this

>fox
what a fag

>copy current mustang
>add 300zx tail lights
>add g nose
>call it 400zx

The Camaro is actually easy to back up though, you can see right where the back end is in the side mirrors and you sit close to it. It's every fucking 4 door sedan designed in the last few years with their high back windows, square c-pillars, and inward sloping back ends so you can't see a cunting thing behind the rear wheels that are impossible.

i want to nut inside and outside her

Thats a chick in a bikini with a body that would probably not break till mine did. I don't give a duck if she wants to wear cat ears or a but plug with a fake tail sticking out of it, that's her thing. I just want to Fuck her till my body fails and my bowels drop out from exertion.

>her

I WANT TO SUCK HER (MALE) PENIS UNTIL IT IS TENDER AND CAN'T SHOOT ANYMORE

bullshit there is no way that is a dude

...

the guy claiming those are dudes is the same guy who fooled autist on twitter into thinking he was fucking his mom.

Simple. The west needs to make a car worth copying. Japan's best engineering efforts came to be because the Europeans/Americans already did the hard work of designing the exterior.

More on that? You mean like old old retro bikes from like 50s style?
Sportbikes seem to be going just as full edgy as cars.

When are there going to be Dynacorn style S13 and other jap classic type shells you can buy and build?

There is absolutely huge market for these and the you can buy almost everything already, maybe not straight OEM.
These could be the only thing keeping jap cars' spirit alive.

Melopan was claiming she was a dude.

there is a secret project but I'd have to kill you if I told you anything

>How do we save the Japanese car industry?

How I would do it:
>Honda
Fit si and type R
S2K 2.0
CRX with MR drivetrain
>Toyota
RWD shitbox corolla
MR-2
>Nissan
SKYLINE GTR-R36
Affordable RWD car
>Mazda
Rotary option for MX-5

>RWD shitbox corolla

i disagree.
Thing is, for electric cars to be succesful, you need to have batteries that don't lose life overtime by using them. A 2 year old chevy volt will go from 100% power to only 91% power. Tell me how that is the future, meanwhile a normal engine at 100k miles with a cleanup/walnut blast will go back and only probably lose like 4hp.
Electric is good but the battery tech isn't there. and it's being pushed to kill the oil industry. An alternate fuel that is more powerful than gasoline would be a better alternative.

>RWD shitbox corolla
Corolla is too big, Yaris maybe

Good point, basicly just a RWD shitbox, might even be the Aygo.

Speaking of yaris, just give us the awd turbo rally yaris damn it!

Dunno I'm enjoying my Suzuki Swift very much

Or the 200 hp MR Aygo Crazy

sauce on girl?

Start making Japanese cars in Japan again... I'm looking at you Honda and Nissan

>Start making Japanese cars in Japan again.
Cost.

>sauce on girl?
Try the similar image search function at e-hentai.org when you have color images that look like they are obviously from a set. One-off images aren't at e-hentai though as it specializes in gallery sets.

Well of course it's "too expensive" but the quality of some North American built Japanese cars is embarrassing

I work for a dealer that is a Honda/Nissan franchise and the difference between a new Civic hatch (UK built) and Civic sedan (NA built) is very evident from the way the protective plastics are applied to the actual assembly quality.

1st generation Nissan Rogue was nothing amazing (Japan built) 2nd generation Rogue has disgusting paint/body quality, shit would leave you to believe your brand new Rogue has been smacked and repainted by a subpar shop.

I could go on but I think you understand.

The bottom line is all that matters, but still it's a shame that both brands used to build quality cars now just sell cars of the reputation they've built during the 90's and early 2000's

"Japanese quality" my ass lol Nissan especially

>>Japanese
>>posts Chinese woman
>>white people

well, making japanese cars in japan would fix japan's economy. maybe. at least a little.

It's very expensive, but sometimes there are things more important than money.

Praying for the day we see that happen. For the brand, consumer, and Japanese economies sake

I'm just speculating, but i'm sure many of the influential engineers and designers who propelled the Japanese manufacturers to success have either retired or passed on, leaving the brands to a bunch of bean-counters who only care about profit. This could be said for more than just Japanese manufacturers I.E. BMW putting an M badge on anything with 4 wheels.

I'm truly thankful I got to experience some of the good cars from the 90's and 2000's before all these things turn into soul-less shitboxes with CVT's

Complaining people can't see difference between Chinks and Japs? Stop being so Wapanese. No one likes Wapanese people.

the japanese are mixed in with chinese and koreans so half the time you actually can't tell

it's like trying to spot the poles, germans, and englishmen in the US.

>it's like trying to spot the poles, germans, and englishmen in the US.

Sportbikes are made for function, not feels. If you take a look at moto2 and motoGP, they look a lot like production bikes with all accommodations for passengers and lighting removed. Production bikes are derived from GP bikes and then toned down for their class and emissions laws. "Racebikes with lights" is not a joke. If the car industry were the motorcycle industry you would be buying formula atlantic cars with headlights tacked on right off the showroom floor for fifteen grand a pop.
