I drive them for work sometimes. It's kind of scary how you can drive then on a normal licence especially since some have air or air assisted brakes. You really shouldn't ever be in one of their blind spots. The same goes for any large commercial vehicle.

I've had consistently bad experiences with early model Dodge Durangos for some reason. Especially black and lifted ones. Lifted trucks in general are usually assholes.

Any vehicle that sounds like mechanical failure is imminent.

I once overtook a really slow Explorer on the interstate, and it wasn't till I got beside it I realized why it was going so slow -- it was running on 5 cylinders and I could hear the sucking sound of air past a destroyed valve between pulses of combustion. I've also come across cars with very loud, violent knocking (especially Corollas) and the drivers are just tooling along. Stay far away from any car with abnormal noises and overtake as soon as possible.

Definitely agree to avoid Nissan Altimas.
Harley riders are also a big one to avoid. About 70% of them are people who started riding in their late 40s as a fashion statement. Having a land barge where you sit reclined as your first bike and always "cruising" around at 5 under the speed limit doesn't exactly equate to good riding sense.

They usually almost cause an accident or go off the road when you get on them and pressure them to speed up or get irrationally angry when you safely pass them in the other lane. Even with a good rider on them the performance of those massive cruisers is far worse than your average family sedan so be mindful of that.

The 90s had a lot of good options for minivans.
