Despite what people say, it is dying. SEB is exclusive owned by Avex Group in Japan. The reason the Legend movies and the latest Arcade Stage games don't have Eurobeat is because Avex deliberately chose not to licence it, deciding instead to use them as a vehicle to launch fresh new faces (this didn't work out). SEB releases are also slowing down and more famous faces are starting to leave the industry. The Japanese internet stopped giving a shit years ago, considering they're more familiar with what Shigeno does outside of Initial D and is therefore more familiar with what a goddamn floppy hack he is. The only place it's popular right now is in Western memes.
