Kleds pretty good, but you gotta think a bit more with him than with some other faceroll top-laners. If you fuck up and lose Skaarl you can easily throw your lane away. Also, Fiora is a massive counter to him.

Knowing your limits and mastering he remounting mechanics takes some time and experience but he can definitely carry very hard .

it's a fine line you have to walk. on one hand just saying "Yes!" sounds really stupid on paper, but compare that to IVEGOTTWOTHUMBSANDASHIELD 20 times per game

The spoken lines on basic abilities annoy me a lot too actually. Only the ones with shitty VO's like Taliyah and Xayah though.

It doesn't seem too bad if he actually had a leash like in a normal game. I imagine you would definitely want the summoner cd mastery.

That didn't seem to terrible a clear, he also had no one leashing, fucked up his passive procs on Raptors a lot, and didn't even try for a scuttle. Its probably not something you'll see in pro play anytime soon, but the E gives you a decent-ish gank, and the R will be disgusting for securing kills, you wouldn't even have to dive people with low hp, just tag them from fog and reel them in.

Somewhere along the line I think Riot thought that instead of making quick audio quips for champions they'd just write massive fucking sentences for personality forgetting that its not only annoying but is also a terrible way of delivering audio ques for gameplay. I think it was Taliyah who started this because before hand the worst we had was Aurelion Sol and it wasn't bad at all on him when he's only spam his lines upon using Q or E.

Plenty of other champions have only a few words for a catch phrase:

I don't know any champion's real catchphrase after Kled. Nothing "rings" really well like the aforementioned champions...just audio spam at that point. Especially when THROW ANOTHA ROC gets cut off for the first half of the delivery.

Five seconds of actually looking at the characters would reveal to you that they have actual names in addition to the titles, just like in LoL. Dota just chooses to list them like classes in an RPG and use their title rather than the name, LoL does the opposite and uses the title as a subtext.

If Teemo was in Dota, he'd be called "Swift Scout" and if Sniper was in LoL, he'd be called Kardel.

His early game means everything for him and you have to keep in mind that he does have his (extremely shitty) match-ups where you're MUCH better off playing a different champ if he gets countered in champ-select. Like playing into a Fiora is an automatic feed & loss scenario for him, as an example.

I definitely don't recommend choosing him at all if you're first or second-pick in champ select because of this.

But other then that he's fun as hell to play when you're against even champ matches and his kit encourages you to take on his all-or-nothing mentality with your gameplay.

Camille and Xayah & Rakan as a duo lane are the worst cases of this by far.

I like listening to other champions in the game, it gives it life and personality and they even act as cues for the skills they're using or are about to use - but those 3 literally never shut the fuck up, even when they're just walking around.

uhh I did cleaver, shiv, ghostblade, boots and spinning around people shotgun knee'ing them does work the way you're imagining. There's no cooldown between them, just an individual cooldown for each one, so you can spin around someone and unload on them in a second.
