What is weird is on MWR when you unlock a "kit"
- which is both selective retextures where it will apply camo to some parts of the gun and not others (vs the old COD4 version of the entire gun getting camoed) - and some are complete remodels like pic related... When you unlock one, it unlocks it for EVERY weapon in that category. This kit makes every single SMG tacticool'd up.

It seems like a lot of work as opposed to just releasing skins / kits for different guns.

Not like they could apply the EXACT same ideology here, but maybe for 10 dollars you get complete remodels of all of a CTU's guns? Every gun in FBI for example gets reworked to have some theme. Maybe wood, or maybe modern style guns. Who knows?

This is the theory for some of the DLC guns they added, because some look crazy futuristic, but the raw quantity of remodels they have released into the game suggests, no, it can't just be reused assets.

I imagine they are focusing so heavily on these things because they are what you see the most. When I pay 15 dollars for that Blackbeard Elite Skin - I don't get to see it. I get to see it in Kill Cams when I die, and on the MVP screen.

Whereas a gun remodel is shown the entire time you are playing, every time you get a kill you see it, teammates will see your world model easily, and if enemies are close enough they'll see it as well (either when they kill you or in kill cams, etc)

Like why would I spend 15 dollars on this sweet ass BB skin when 90% of the time all I get is some weird jungle skin for the SCAR?

echo, the hover roomba allows me to safely fuck with people from the safety of the objective with my mira friend watching my back. if it gets destroyed i just charge them and spray, but that rarely happens cause casual players don't know how to shoot the damn thing.

if theres great places for outside cameras, valk is probably the comfiest operator to play. just the safe feeling of knowing where everyone is at all times is great and lets me fuck with them.

What's objectively and factually better: large recoil improvement between your first and second shot, slower recoil growth, or reduction in the overall recoil ceiling?

i want a IQ elite skin where shes either bare foot or wearing flip flops for reasons.

what about horizontal recoil? it seems like compensator does the best at fixing that than the others but I don't know because theres no good testing on it.

People value different recoil patterns when it comes to attachments. Some people like having that extra kick on the first shot recoil reduced. Some prefer reducing vertical recoil over horizontal, which is wrong.

I don't actually know for myself if this is 100% true but it's said that the compensator counters horizontal recoil the best of all attachments, which is far and away the biggest RNG of any gun. Vertical climb can be absolute hell with certain guns especially between the first couple of shots like Fuze's AK though, I prefer a muzzle brake on that. Obviously single shot weapons want a muzzle brake.

formerly, I still play him from time to time. He was the first DLC operator I unlocked and I played him exclusively for a good chunk of my playtime so he'll always hold a place in my heart.

i never really liked any defenders until i unlocked echo, he's definetly underrated. even in silver/gold ranked people still often dont know how to deal with yokai and get scared off when disorientated
