[Dirt Bike Treads] - /dbt/

Nice, a little ninja 300 I'm guessing?

How do you define "decent"? Do you prioritize form or function?

Function.
LED
Smaller than massive stock junk
Still acts as a running light in front
Isnt china shit
Isnt $100 a pair (even those are shit anyway)

yup. desu it's really good for me, since i've already fucked up a few times just today. I accidentally downshifted twice without correctly revmatching, and my rear tire kinda skidded for a sec.

>paying 10 THOUSAND dollars on a 17 year old bike
Holy shit, I can name almost every amazing bike for a beginner that starts at under 7 grand brand new out the door. Even heavier bikes are found cheaper.

Stock indicators are good.

Or don't buy Chinese shit, it's almost all worthless.

I had these on my bike and they were really dim. Better off using hand signals.

this is the absolute state of harley fags

The problem is that the human eye needs an area of illumination to distinguish what's going on other than "oh its a light." With LED's being very small point lights its hard to properly illuminate a reflector housing without a custom job. The stock "junk" is actually designed to keep you safe and the drivers around you informed of your actions in a clear manner while using cheap incandescent illumination and not requiring expensive LED panels or specialized reflectors.

The best i've found for LED signals is by layering LED's ontop of LED's. First start with replacing the "stock junk" with smaller LED's like your pic above, then augment those with additional indicator lights such as one or more of these:

By smaller, i meant not stick out super far. Like i would use my stock signals IF i could mount them closer in so they dont look like cocks hanging out each side.
The surface area of light is fine

Are Kawasakis good?
