Veld was the best possible final boss for a game like 776. Lief's whole struggle would almost definately be relegated to a single paragraph at most in a history book. What better way to end a small scale game than with a small scale boss?

Removing his triangle advantage on reds just means the likes of Sanaki, Lilina and Katarina will be able to tank him now. Sophia will probably just get quadded though without an Owl Tome.
