Car washing

Describe your car washing ritual Veeky Forums.

>quick spray with water
>soap
>wait one min
>thoroughly spray it off
>repeat every week

You don't dry it?

I don't, I leave it dirt nasty 24/7 and pretend I'm a rally driver in my itasha miata

-Spray full car down with small electric pressure washer
-scrub car with microfibers that have been sitting in soappy worder mixture (I prefer Mothers brand)
-Do car in quarters, starting front driver side. If car is drying fast due to heat then spray as I go along to prevent the soap from drying onto it
-when done take one of the towels I used and go to work on the wheels/tires and spray them as I finish them
-Begin to go around and dry the car which can take anywhere from 4-6 more microfibers
-Once done drying take one more towel and some RainX to do the windows

that's a good looking coupe.

maybe his water isnt hard as fuck like us peasants

Haven't washed my car for like a year because my parking is under trees so it's fruitless.

Rinseless wash, Garry Dean method

>strip mines in the hills near my house
>noticable layer of dust on anything left out overnight
>have to park on the street next to a bunch of shitty sprinklers
>dirty-ass water spotting on my car

I just wash the windows with the squeegee at the gas station when they get too dirty. There's no point in doing anything else.

>drive car
>wait for rain

e46 m3 is a beautiful car

I like your method senpai

I get 3 car wash kits every christmas because "he likes cars".

I have so many products. I usually just pick 2-3 products and follow the instructions.

My car is usually pretty clean unless it's really cold out.

>cover car in degreaser if necessary
>cover wheels in wheel cleaner & sponge-clean them after a minute
>cover wheels in wheel cleaner again and let it be
>wash off car with pressure washer
>hot water, soap and sponge the entire thing
>wash off car and wheels with pressure washer
>clean wiper blades with paper towel
>dry off with large soft towel if I bother

>hose down
>cover in dish soap with microfiber towel
>hose down
>clay bar
>dish soap
>use some headlight restoration shit to buff out anything that won't come out (works bretty good)
>dish soap
>rinse
>air dry
>wax
>buff with buffer
I do this about once a year. All other washes are just done with a hose.

>drive to car wash
>shitpost on phone while they wash my car
>pay them
>drive off

>Soften up dirt and remove mud from underside with a karcher k2
>wash with basic neutral hair soap
>Work at least 40-50 mins removing bugs and hard grit
>Rinse
>Take pics of my work

pretty much this

...

a clean, dirt free, undented and scratched truck just says the owner is a microdicked manlet desperate to get laid.

>check forecast
>if rain, car is washed
>give it an actual quick wash on good days if I get hit by bird shit or something
>November through March: cross fingers and pray the salt hurts less than normal because no indoor garage to wash it off

it is pretty scratched and dented unfortunately, i just dont take pics of that tho

when it rains I take my car outside

I've never washed my car.

I've been thinking about buying a foam cannon for shits and giggles.

why are the tyres so thin?

Probably because its stock?

Thats just how stock wheels & tires are
