Big Kia Sales Event going on!

I think I am going down and getting a cup of cocoa. Maybe I will get the red one. No-- scratch that. I will get the blue one.

dont forget the soymilk while youre at it bud

kia is stronk

that's right, drink the soy and buy a kia go- i mean guy

where the fuck do they make blue cocoa

You might even be able to get through the whole buying experience with out having to remove your butt plug or chastity cage.

You get more for your money when buying kia.

Get a gun metal sedona with espresso interior. best vehicle on earth

What size vibrator comes with it??

great idea. get "the red" kia. dumbass.

...

>tfw unironically been looking at a Kia today

can you unironically look at ending your pathetic existence too

if you are wimping out on an electric kia, you might was well go all in with a prius. no point to half measures.

I've been trying to talk myself into actually seriously looking at kia's just because they are cheap and you can get a practically new one for like 6 grand

They're just so "Eeeeeeeeeeeeeh no" when you sit in one and drive one. Like, i'd use one as a lease just because they are "sorta" fun to beat on in a shitty "rental car not mine lol" kinda way. Its like harbor freight tools, you don't feel bad when you are brutalizing it because its cheap.

Working on it

Personally; never. I'll keep my Hilux as long as I can, which is hopefully forever. We're just looking at replacing my mothers shitty Subaru with something more suiting

We'll see. A new Soul EV will be like $34400, but the Subaru should net her $22000 in trade-in value, so its a tempting deal

Only shit thing is that they can't deliver a car until February...

>34k for a kia soul

IDC if there's a goddamn Ferrari F50 motor in it
Thats a big hell no good buddy

It even costs the same in the US

Shit is expensive here. I mean, a base-model Civic Type R is $59 000

>electric
>hatchback
>AND a kia
Holy shit, it literally cannot get more soyboyish than that.

>A new Soul EV will be like $34400,

You can get a real car for a lot less than that. Focus Electric and the e-Golf can be had under $30.

He wants the hamsters?

E-Golf kitted out as close to the Kia Soul EV:
$41300
Focus would be $32 000, which is not bad

But, the Kia has a much better 7 year warranty, she likes the look of it alot more, the only car dealer in an hours driving is an official Kia dealer and as such we don't have to travel far at all for service & eventual repairs, and it has more equipment than the Ford

Any of the three would be a better car than the Subaru tho...

>E-Golf kitted out as close to the Kia Soul EV: $41300
>Focus would be $32 000, which is not bad

15k in options for a 30k car? You need to shop better, bro.

Starts at $38 000 here - and you have to factor in that winter wheels & tires come extra

>tfw unironically like the Kia Soul
It's like they didn't even try with the design. You want something with room inside and you don't care about anyhting else? Here, have a fucking box with four wheels.
It's so bad I love it.
Probably horrible to drive though.

Why don't you buy an old shit box Subaru and get some decent tires? Could probably be nicely done for around 4k

Its for my mother. She already has a shitty Subaru, and I'll die before I buy myself one

She currently has a 2013 Subaru XV/Crosstrek

1.6 is surprisingly thirsty
CVT is shit
Ride is stiff
Lights are terrible
Low-options

A Soul EV would be cheaper, easier to park, better equipped, have 7 year warranty, better power-to-weigh ratio and cheaper to insure

Why do you keep letting your mother buy the worst cars on the market? Has she wronged you in some way?

I had a 2013 Optima SXL that I sold in 2016 due to going oversea's and with the exception of it having the Kia name on it everyone at work loved it.

Course I got into a discussion with the idiot who kept bragging about his Ford Focus that it didn't matter if the fuckers could do 0-60 in 2 seconds because at the end of the day his cars still a fucking Ford Focus and mine was still a Kia.

> She gives him life
> He thanks her with a kia

The dude does not hate her. He hates himself.

Well... ehm... the truth is that the Subaru was actually me and my dads decision. She didn't test drive it or even really look at it, as she hates looking for cars and dont know what to look for

We fucked up on that one, I'll admit

Oh I'm just finding the best deal and the best car for them. My parents does the money bit

Hey now the Warrenty does carry a lot of weight in the decision, especially for people who don't know or want to directly fix/care for the car.

>fixing up electric cars with tons of sensors in my nigger-tier garage with my nigger-tier tools
I am not that much of a masochist

And its not so much that we want to avoid working on it ourelves - its just that faults on cars like those tend to be quite expensive

>over $30k for the shittiesy econo car imaginable
Just shut up and buy her a civic you idiot.

The absolute cheapest Civic starts at $32 000, with absolutely no extras added, no winter tires, and delivery & dealer fee not added

What are you talking about? Base price with an auto is $19,640 according to Honda.

You assume that everything costs the same everywhere

I'm in the Peoples Socialist Democratic Monarchy of Norway. A fucking Mustang GT base model with no extras added is $135 000

>civic starts and $32k
>Kia shitbox starts at $34k
You're still a retard if you get the soul. I the civic is too much then get a fit.

Nah it's a dealership so you are gonna get fucked in the ass no matter what.

She wants an electric car.
No Honda dealer within two hours drive
Jazz starts at $27 000, with the same premises as

>She wants an electric car.
She shouldn't.
Get a Corolla then. Or a Mazda2/Yaris iA.

Why shouldn't she get one?

I know that this isn't a personal blog but this story is extremely relevant to this thread. I remember taking driver's ed a few years ago and my teacher was a middle aged man who got a Kia Soul Dragon Edition, which as the name suggests has a huge dragon decal that covers a majority of the car. I just remember spending a lot of time of that class trying to imagine what it was like being a grown ass man walking into a Kia dealership and looking around, and then seeing pic related and saying "I like that one!". I also wondered what he felt like driving around in it, and how he could be so content with that as a car. Later during the classes, he stated that his son works as a translator at Funmation, and at that moment I realized being a manchild looser can also be genetic.

cool story

I've had one since 2014, and I can honestly say that it is kinda....meh. Not too exciting, sort of just goes as it wants.

holy fucking kek

>unironically making every excuse possible to purchase gook trash
wew

I asked what arguments there were for not getting the Soul EV

I'll appreciate any relevant input, wether its positive about the car or negative

>I asked what arguments there were for not getting the Soul EV
And like a dumb faggot, you ignored/gave excuses for all of them
Just because you live in some uninhabitable shithole and you're poor doesn't mean ""muh finances"" is a good reason to disregard every other decent option listed in this thread

from a practicality standpoint, it doesn't make a lot of sense
34k for a Soul EV gets you a car with a 90 (even less in cold conditions) mile range before needing a recharge, long-term issues with the battery, and other Kia-related problems that are otherwise easily remedied are now harder 'cause it's an electric Kia.

If you were dying to get an electric car (and unless it's the new Nissan Leaf, Bolt, or Model 3, I wouldn't even bother), you should look at an e-golf, focus electric, or similar.

If you want practicality, get a Jazz, regular Hatchback (hell, even including a regular Kia Soul), or best of all, a Prius (doubt your mom cares about driving dynamics).

An electric Kia soul is begging to have a bunch of issues when you're spending close to 40k on a vehicle after taxes, insurance, and other shit. Absolutely do not buy that car.

Why cant people just attempt to act like adults for once instead of pretending to be asses

100 mile realistic range in winter, depending a little bit on how many people are in it, how cold it is and so on. 5% to 90% charge in 15 minutes at a charging station. Range isn't an issue

Reliability is always a worry, but with Kia having a decent reputation these days and a 7 year/93 000 mile warranty it shouldn't be a big worry.

The other options are either more expensive by default, or offer less equipment at the same price

Practicality is not an issue. She is only going to be driving it to and from work, to the store, to the gym, concerts or whatever. It wont carry anything more than a bag or shopping, it wont tow, and if she is brining her skis she can just put them on a rooftop ski holder

$34k is the final price for the model she wants. She will also most likely not keep it past its warranty, so any costs outside of general maintenance and eventual self-caused damage should be fine. Every component, battery pack, motor and so on are covered under the 7 year/93 000 mile warranty

Its also an untaxed vehicle due to it being electric, and insurance is 27% less than the Subaru

>Ignoring every other good option in this thread for literally no reason at all
>Tells others to act like adults

No one wants to validate your autistic decision, retard

Im responding in hopes that you're actually not just pretending to be retarded

What reasons did I ignore? I replied to every single fucking post with why I thought that option was not as good, or why the cars that are cheaper in other places are not cheaper here

There are objective reasons you denied for ""muh feels"" or ""hurrr momma doesn't like it""

>She wants an electric car.
>No Honda dealer within two hours drive
If what she wants is obviously trash, you convince her to drive and buy a car that will be better in every which way

>She already has a shitty Subaru, and I'll die before I buy myself one
Subaru's are known for their stellar offroad and winter capabilities, just because your panties are bunched doesn't make them objectively bad cars

>Personally; never.
No one gives a shit about your personal feelings towards a Prius. Whoever will be driving this car will be better off with a Prius than a Soul. The Prius has been the go-to electric car for like 20 years, there's no way in hell a fucking Soul is better

>A new Soul EV will be like $34400

>>I asked what arguments there were for not getting the Soul EVAnd like a dumb faggot, you ignored/gave excuses for all of them
>Just because you live in some uninhabitable shithole and you're poor doesn't mean "muh finances" is a good reason to disregard every other decent option listed in this thread

Let's be honest, the car is not for your "mom". It's for you. Buying a Kia is like pic-related. The depreciation alone will make this a bad deal. The fact that Kia has like .002% of the EV market is an even better reason to avoid this purchase.

A friggen corolla would do the trick. You will save a lot of money, have a better car and not get laughed at (as much).

>fell for Subaru meme
That's your problem

Thats a solid argument against the EV tho - its very uncertain how the depreciation will be, but most likely it'll be very high. Still, I also imagine it will be very high for ICEs due to ever-increasing taxes on fuel, increasing vehicle registration tax on ICE vehicles, EV vehicles improving and cities enforcing ICE-bans on certain days with high pollution

Another crux is that its not AWD. She drove a Saab for over ten years and it got around just fine, but she does admit to having become very fond of having AWD in the wintertime

And no, its not for me. I cannot fit any of my equipment into it, I cannot tow anything, I cannot go where I want to in it, I cant offroad in it, and its too expensive for me. I'll stick to my Hilux until the government swoops in on their Tesla Model Q flying car and executes me with sniper fire for daring to drive a polluting diesel

Shill plz go
