Hellion is good on literally any boss fight Also on the first DD take HM/Abom/Abom/Abom

mine just died to vvulf
Nicholas Bennett
>tfw the skeleton inside you escapes
Jack Evans
git gud (also known as using flagellant)
Adam Cox
Isn't that like the only strategy against him? His damage is just too huge without debuffing it.
Ryder Sullivan
just don't think she's particularly good there because breakthrough brings her output too low and iron swan can't hit anything but the bomb
yawp is good but it's also being used so often it hurts more than it helps to just chop through bandits, it's about the only boss besides the shrieker where i don't find that great of a use for yawp
i'd rather a leper plus man at arms for guarding and i'm not sure rank 3 hellion is a thing, though i suppose rank 3 man at arms would work
Xavier Rogers
2bh I forgot all about vulf, I agree with using leper. flagellant is still pretty good there, though, and rank 3 man-at-arms is alright, so vestal/maa/flag/lepster should be alright
Austin Hall
No, there's also dodge-protect which uses MAA and/or HM to both guard the person about to take damage and dodge the damage. A shuffle comp can also work by stacking prot or dodge and moving those characters under the rubble.
The triple OCC + Leper is the best for killing the pews and taking no rubble damage though. It's weaker for flat-out killing the boss because you take a lot of blight and stress damage. You also can't stun him.
Wyatt Johnson
>crimson court >alright time to get rid of this fucking awful debuff to my stress facility and let other town events happen >got my shit slapped first time by the croc but now i'm fully ready with an unstoppable party >my party completely destroy the whole dungeon >boss just decides to crit 5 times in a row now
Welp, i guess the game just don't want me to complete this
Landon Anderson
I'm thinking of doing my first run in the Courtyard. What party should I take?
Jackson Jackson
A P R E D A T O R E X
James Hill
Vestal/PD/Flagellant/Hellion worked for me give PD his stuns and buffs, since blight resistances are too high for it to be significant in the courtyard
Julian Green
>since blight resistances are too high for it to be significant in the courtyard Do you even Hag's Ladle / Blasphemous Vial?
Lucas Scott
it's an early game quest, so no
Eli Kelly
OCC/DOG/FLA/HEL Bleed works pretty well in there i find.
Isaac Wood

Jack Nelson
user made no indication that his till early on in his playthrough and thus could easily have those trinkets. At the very least Blasphemous+Poisoned Herb.
Kevin Allen
I want hellion to jerk me off with her feet
Cooper Butler
I want deviants to not shit up all generals but I guess we all want impossible things.
Luis Miller
thanks for sharing user
Robert Lee
I want to use her armpits to get off.
Easton Nelson
>start dungeon >click to start moving >boom my lvl 6 occ dies becasue he was apparently wasting >alt f4 Fuck this gay earth I really needed that occultist
Xavier Nelson
Any tips for Champion level dungeons? The level 5 enemies make each fight they're in feel as hard as a boss fight.
Xavier Gomez
Rallying Flare when you fight the ___Siren___.
Landon Martinez
What do you guys think about the trinket sets? Which ones are worth using?

THAT OVERCONFIDENCE
Lucas Bennett
IS A SLOW
Austin Hernandez
AND INSIDIOUS
Jack Hernandez
Cove is the easiest one due to their champion not having any crazy gimmicks like buffing allies damage, preventing healing skills, or just raw damage output from CRIPPLE THEM. Obviously you should focus them down and you should have more than a single character that can target the back two rows. Shuffle them, move them, or what ever you need to do to get them in damage range if they aren't in range. Man at Arms is good if you have any squishy guys. I was using him to guard the Jester I was trying to level up when I encountered two fights with the Skiver.
Also don't do champion dungeons torchless your first try, the game will try to shit on you hard from the first fight.
Jordan Cox
KILLER
Kevin Bailey
You ruined the combo you little shit
Angel Ramirez
Perhaps we were overconfident?
Is Plague, Occ, BH, Crus a good comp for lvl 5 Siren?
Daniel Miller
Do people actually have issues with the Boner Bearer? The only instance where I find him a threat is when he spawns with two Lancers in the front ranks and they spam Impale while getting buffed. Otherwise he's a joke and usually ends up dooting Bone Rabble.
Luis Wright
You could say that the tide turns quickly.
Sebastian Morris
What are some funny Darkest Dungeon vids or gameplays on YT?
I know it's dumb but I'd like to enjoy my fave game while having some laughs.
Matthew Morris
I didn't know you could die from crimson curse as soon as you start a dungeon. I was gonna give him blood in a few seconds. That occ dying really fucked me over.
The problem with him is you really have to kill him first, and sometimes fate likes to be a bitch and force you to take a couple of rounds of buffed spearman and commander damage.
Kevin Young
Sure but the compositions he's placed in the enemies are barely a threat, outside of Lancers.
Chase Moore
flagellant feels a bit like cheating desu
Julian Edwards
All classmods are unbalanced Even the official ones
Ayden Thompson
>feels a bit like cheating
the only cheats this game has are mods
Jaxon Ortiz
Does transforming use up the turn when playing abomination?
If so, whats the best way to go about doing it?
Kevin Allen
>Does transforming use up the turn when playing abomination? No.
Joseph Jackson
it doesn't.
Levi Parker
He's a very situational class. His bleeds are good but his raw damage is garbage.
Xavier Bennett
Yeah feels like cheating when all your flagellants die on first death's door check lol
Josiah Brooks
>tfw week 12 bank SPELL IT WITH ME LADS L O D S E M O N E >tfw it's only on darkest instead of bloodmoon shameful

Jason Murphy
ghouls are pretty spoopy
Michael Clark
I got one on week 14. I don't even bother picking up gold in dungeons anymore since I make more than enough to cover all my expenses through interest alone.
Colton Perez
Been playing since Early Access and only now did I notice that the spiders aren't palette swaps of one another. Jesus, I feel so fucking slow.
Josiah Flores
Anyone else so autistic that you have to use every class exactly once in DD?

Jack Bennett
Arbalest/graverobber/abom/abom on the brigand pounder. One abom for stunning, everyone can attack 2 spaces, constant stress heals from all the crits

A little hope, however desperate, is never without worth

Lore-wise, why does Zealous Accusation deal damage? Is it some Christ-magic?
Nicholas Morgan
>In time, you will know the tragic extent of my failures...

holy shit
Ryan Barnes
Lore-wise, why does Bolster boost your dodge and speed ? The mace just magicaly catch some lightning and convert it into a buff

It's just a cool visual effect. Lore wise the MaA is just telling them to stop being pussies and push them to preform beyond their limits.
Benjamin James
MaA instructs the group on proper formation
Dylan Morris
>Tempting Goblet doesn't count as drinking The Blood for CC'd heroes
Would this be interesting as a mod? Could add a layer of depth to what becomes a fairly weak enemy in champion levels. Thanks to doots buffing spearmen and arbalests, gobletmen are the easiest thing in the ruins apart from rabble and spiders.
Jordan Anderson

What should I know before trying out a bloodmon playthrough? What shit that worked in darkest no longer flies in bloodmoon?
Zachary Myers
My idea is that it's part memories of him, part ghost stuff, and part written in the letter (the letter being really longer than what is shown in the intro).
Kayden Reyes
>Raw damage is garbage someone is not equipping his flagellant with martyr's seal and book of rage for +50 dmg crits
Thomas Lopez
If you don't do the Shrieker's quest. Does it go away next week? I want to do the medicine one instead but got his event. The trinket reward is Molted Wingfeather.
Cooper Phillips
Which healer do you prefer?
Jordan Phillips
>yfw he crits and the bleed procs >yfw he does it again the next turn
