Blocks your path

>blocks your path

If it's tall, drill a hole sideways and lever it out. Replace it too.

>Replace it
Whoa there Ferrari mechanic, that bolt is still useable. Drill and tap the head then thread another bolt into with red loctite.
There is no point in needlessly replacing hardware unless you are sponsored.

That *sounds* like a good idea, but the loctite is probably more expensive than a new one.

>he doesnt own a pair of micro vice grips

I'd get that bolt off in less than ten minutes.

why is it even shredded like that in the first place? What retard let it get so bad?

Use a dremel to straighten the edges then hammer a smaller socket into it

How do you fuck up a bolt in such good shape.

Anyway, these work wonders

All of you are fucking faggets. I removed worse bolts with a pair of these.

If you dont have room for plyers, then grind 2 straight edges, and fit a socket that will

>HEY BUBBA DUS DIS CAR BE INCHES OR SENTIMETURS?

>Not welding another bolt to the head

Plebs

How lazy are you that you can't replace a bolt that you've drilled a fucking home through?

How. It isn't rusty. Did you start off with a 12pt one size to big?

Are you the mother fucker from the quick lude that keeps fucking up my drain plug?

...

this 9/10 times

otherwise keep trying dumb shit until something works.

the answer is vice grips and profane language

This but unironically

kek'd

blue wrench best wrench.

acquire slightly smaller socket out of the massive box of random sockets that any shade tree mechanic has

hammer that bitch on

>What retard

One who forgot 'righty tighty, lefty loosey'.

...

>all that effort for a single fucking bolt

Perfect for those bolts right near flammable fluids

Should have used a flank drive plus

new bolt is LEGITIMATELY 1 dollar... this post is the definition of make work projects

>1 dollar bolt
I've made that mistake one to many times in my younger days.

>Working on GM shitbox Safari
>Trying to remove wheel bearing hub bolts
>Someone else has been in here, one bolt is rounded right off
>Grabbed the angle grinder and gave myself a couple nice flat edges for my vice grips
>Snapped off, probably removed to much material
>Get impatient and cut the head off the bolt
>Find the bolts online for $47, can't find them individually
>Dealer wants $62, can't buy them individually
>Went to the pick n pull and got them for free

Also encountered the same expensive mistake for the control arm bolts. Thankfully I've become a regular at the pick n pull.
